Constant calls on my cell phone. Hang ups. No response when I call number back except not a working number.

No idea who this is. Calls a few times a week, does not leave a message and/or hangs up when I answer, and when I try to call back there is no answer.

They call and leave an 800 number to call them back with no explanation of who they are or what they want.

Person stated they were from the Small Business Alliance for a business line of credit

Got a call from this number just to call it back and it says the number is disconnected.  There was a voice mail left to call a number back and they left a case number.

I have gotten a couple of calls from this #, when i call back it says the number is disconnected! What can we do?

I have been receiving calls from 216-839-2130.  They have been calling in the past two months.  I have missed most of them either during the day or sometimes after 8pm.  One time my voicemail picked up and heard some heavy breathing.  Today was the first day I picked up.  It says to connect press 1, to try again press 2.  Once I press 1 it takes me to the recording that this number has been disconnected or no longer in service.  That is the same message I get when calling the number back.  I traced it back to Ameritech landline in Terrace, Ohio.  I am now concerned that since I pressed one, it was a scam of some kind.

It said to wait while the call is connected.  It didn't connect.  Then I got a busy signal.

When I don't pick up, they leave a "message" saying "The next available representative will assist you shortly."  Representing whom?  Assisting me with what?  No idea.  When I pick up, same recorded message.

This is not a telemarketer - it is a DEBT COLLECTOR. They called our office about an invoice that was paid two years ago to a company called QUILL OFFICE PRODUCTS. When I tried to get to the bottom of the problem, customer representative would not even give me a chance to speak and state that I was already working with another representative from her office.  When I asked that she quit speaking long enough for me to tell her the events, she continued to badger and then stated they would legally pursue this matter, etc, etc, etc,  I wound up slamming the phone down.

OK ... SAME THING AS THE REST OF TYPERS HERE.  YOU CALL THE NUMBER BACK AND THEN GET TOLD THE NUMBER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED - THIS IS THE NUMBER THAT JUST CALLED ME 3 MINUTES AGO.  SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH THE FAX NUMBER THAT HAD BEEN PROVIDED WAS 216-292-5713.  WONDER IF THIS WORKS OR NOT.

Left no message. I called back and the number is diconnected.
How can we get rid of these punks from calling us?
