Received a call from this number on my cell phone. I didn't get it in time to answer, they left no message. I tried to call the number back and only got a busy signal.

Immediately after trying to repair my verizon internet service w/ a tech I
received a call to my home-left no message, then a call on my cell-also left no message. Attempts to call back result in hang-up or a busy signal.
I suspect a connection with verizon- as I regretfully just gave the support tech my cell # without thinking ahead!

recieving calls from 2169120343. usually 2 calls in a row. leaves no message. i also recently used verizons outsourced tech support.

Once you speak to a Verizon DSL tech support person in India, this is the number they call you back from to follow up.  At least that was what my call was.

I've tried to call the number back on several occasions but I keep getting a busy signal. I also called Verizon for tech support on my internet service a few days ago and been getting the calls ever since. I guess there is a connection because when they were trying to transfer me to billing it actually transfered me to some banks customer service department. I was advised that they've been having this problem for weeks. Hope this helps everyone.

I just started getting called by this number today and have had 5 hangups on my home answering machine. I've had them call at least once on my cell phone with no message (showed up as Ohio and I don't know anyone in Ohio). Caller ID at home says "PROGRESSIVECMPT*" and I got a busy signal when I called back. I called Verizon DSL to cancel my service 2 days ago so it's possible that this number is associated with them going by what others have said.

i got the same number 2 times today.. .also no messages... BUT i ALSO had verizon tech support 2 times this week! wow.. well at least it NOt a creditor haha

I received two calls from this number 216 912 0343....   no messages and then busy....just got verizon service..they over billed me for a service installation when they told me it was free...now I see there is a class action lawsuit about their criminal over billing policies....verizon can shove their dsl you know where....bad bad company but so so big and can do anything,,,

spoke with verizon this week about my dsl started getting calls on both lines PROGRESSIVECMPT received two calls from this number 216 912 0343

Same here... Must be a Verizon thing... I guess I should answer it next time... SO tired of them calling.

I'm now on my 12 th call from this number... Oh and it's my cell of which is on the "Do not Call" list, and I have it blocked from Verizon Wireless.... FCC has there report... and all for not !!!
Guess I better use a different service and new number.. no one else can help !

This is Verizon's DSL "customer service" ( I use that term lightly).  They are from another country and have no idea what they are doing and are of no help at all!  We have had problems with them everytime we have to call because DSL is out in our area... And every single time has been a frustrating mess!  Which is normal for Verizon.  These people are the worst.  This last time I even tried to hang up and they would not get off of my line.  It's a good thing I did not have an emergency while they were holding up my line.  When we call for service they always ask for multiple numbers... we never give them more than they already have for our account which is the home number which is tied to the DSL account.  They will continue to call even after you have told them the service is restored.  They act like they didn't just speak to you.  They call multiple times and do not understand what you are saying.  Always ask for a supervisor... it's not much better but a little.  

Seriously.  Dealing with them is a nightmare!!

I just received a call from 216-912-0343. It was the Verizon Tech support with a follow up call.

I just received two phone calls in a row from 216-912-0343 and they didn't leave a message.  I just talked to the Verizon DSL tech department last night and gave them my cell as a back up number.  I guess they are still doing this to customers.

Yep, they are still doing it.  I wish they had just left a message, but thank you to all of you who posted on this site because now I know what it is.  I, too, had used the tech support.  If they really want to know how their service is they might try using a message.  This way it is very creepy.  Or they can ask you when they are talking to you if you want a follow up call and allow you the opportunity to opt out.

PLEASE TAKE MY NUMBER 814-345-6434 OFF YOUR CALLING LIST!!!!!

1 week since I called verizon internert support.......India? Recieved 2 calls today, Lady with heavy accent...Go figure?
