Called and left no message.

Been getting calls from this number.  I called back and it goes to voice mail a voice says "hello . . . hello.  No message, I'll call back later." And you can't leave a message.  This is probably some sad, pitiful, person with no decency or a morale compass who tries to scam the old and the unsuspecting out of what have.  

I could almost be mad at them if they were so pathetic.

Am getting calls from this number.  When I pick up the phone there is no one there.  I have an answering machine but there is no message on it either.

It's a poor attempt to make you think a real person is there. He says he's calling from the police association collection for widows and orphans and those hurt on duty. "He" says when we mail you your envelope, will you return it with a donation? I said no. Then "he" said "hello?" Then he said we don't want to burden you, could you at least send $5" I said no and he said hello again. Then it disconnected. Obvious robo call.

Called and left no message. Called back and a telemarketer recording.
