After checking this site...  Looks like someone wants money.  Sigh.  Me too...  Should I just begin calling unknown people???

Yep, my guess is the university of illinois at urbana - champaign alumni association asking for $$.

I am a graduate of the University of Illinois.  Sure enough I am getting calls that leave no messages. I will NOT make a donation!

We got a call from this number today, 13 April 2014, at 4:05 pm and didn't answer. The caller ID was UNIVERSITY OF I, of which I am an alumnus. When I called back I heard a recording that it was the University of Illinois Foundation, and that they were calling to update their records and "offer an opportunity to participate in this year's annual fund". In the past we received similar calls from 217–239–9777 and blocked that number with our call blocker. This number will be added to it.

I missed the call, but from what's on this website it sounds like it's University of Illinois. I did get a degree from University of Illinois-Chicago, so I assume that's where they got my name from - but I don't know how they got my cell phone number since I don't recall giving it to them.

You'd think that if you don't answer often enough, they'd stop calling and/or leave a message - but they keep trying.
