Realgy Energy.  Relates to electricity deregulation in Illinois.  They want me to switch to them.

But the caller id says "UNAVAILABLE"; and when I called back on the number, it said it was disconnected.

Seems somewhat legitimate (although I'm on the FTC do-not-call list); but also like it could be a scam.

I have made a complaint against them - for free- with the National Do Not Call Registry. Join me !

Also just received a call but no message left. Caller ID says ILLINOIS CALL.

Received 1/21/15 2:02 p.m. call.  No message was left.

Every week at least twice we are getting called from 217-464-4421 and nothing then the call switches off. I am tried of it .

This caller must be associated with some kind of crazy scam. They call and call my home wanting me to "switch" electric companies. The caller does not and cannot even provide electric service in my area!
If they want monthly automatic debit or credit card payment for a service they cannot provide....isnt that a scam?

Caller ID showed Decatur, IL.  I answered to a male with an accent wanting to talk to the person in charge of the Ameren Electric bill.  I have been hounded for days by a 866-910-7624 robo call that I suspect is in connection with this call.  I'm sure it's a scam.  I told them NO and to stop calling here.

ID showed number and web search showed Ameren - Decatur.  No message left.  This is not the first time either!

FolkS, if you don't answer the phone when you get these unknown calls, they will eventually stop calling you.
But, if you do answer the phone and they can't get anywhere with you, they will sell your number to another boiler room operation who will continue to call you. So on and so forth.
I have begun this practice and the number of callers has come to a near halt.
DON"T ANSWER THE PHONE!
