Tel-Lynx blocked this one.  Strongly suspect that it is the ILLINOIS POLICE scam calls (per our local PD) that has been using 618-855-0185 as well.  The calls are coming out of Springfield, IL

Caller ID just said Sherman, IL. No message. I don't answer calls with numbers I don't recognize.

Called, left no message. Sherman IL in caller ID. For some reasons these past few weeks, I've been getting a big increase in spam calls.

I finally answered after several calls from this number. It is the strangest political survey I have ever heard. They basically wanted me to vote for Mark Kirk and said that Tammy Duckworth is a liar and is having an affair with Obama, and wanted to know if I was going to vote for her or "throw her in the trash can".

So I called the campaign office for Mark Kirk. They said this company was not hired by them but they will try to find out who it is and stop it.

Just received call from this number with anonymous name on phone.  Said he got my number from a lady at church and after much probing said it was Mary (what a surprise!) from a Catholic Church(St Ann's-again, very common name).Said he got a DUI and was told to speak to someone older.  I asked how old he was, replied 30.  I asked what I could help him with, he said he was told to talk to someone about it.  I think he was after money though I ended the call before that came up.  He sounded way older than 30 and spoke very slowly.

No message. Blocking.

Didn't answer the call but CID says Illinois.  Don't know anybody there.  Blocking.

They just called and when I didn't pick up the person didn't realize that they had gotten my answering machine ( I still use one) and stayed on the line munching on something for the duration of the message.  It sounded like a call center from the background noise. The caller id said Sherman, IL>

I got a call from this number and said hello 3 times, no answer.  I hung up.

Answered this call. No one there. Called the number back and of course
it is a number that is no longer in service.

Received call said Sherman iL but didn't answer left no medsage

Hear [***] call from morning till end now I will block their spoofed number.

They said they were calling from the Sierra Club. Very rude. No clue what they want.

Someone is still using this number for nefarious means.  Of course, the CID read "unknown name" above the number, and why would one ever answer a call from an unknown name?  Unless I recognize the number, the bozo will have to leave a message or they're doomed to oblivion.

Just got first call from this number.  Silence when I answered, so figured it was robo call & hung up.
