    Guy Answerd my craigslist ad, call was breaking up and had a strong foreign accent. He only wanted to pay me by check or money order for my stuff.  Told him CASH ONLY....
    Needless to say he did not want it if ha had to pay cash...

    Stay Away for this guy... Scam Written All Over It !

    Stay away from him and do not make any deals with him at all!!!!

    He places his own ads as well as responding to yours!!!

    recieved an e-mail from winter morgan  217-501-2800 the same scam money order for a stove give me your mailing address etc: this is a scam buy know I think everyone just about knows what they look like even ther name and e-mail addresses give them away. if you get one that you are suspicious of report them to craigslist as phishing good luck

    is this a scam?
    replied to a job post with a company named sallys finanial planner, and responder's name was sally steven. seemed legit and professional until was sent an email this morning saying I got the job and would like to send me a check next week to cover some tasks (mind you I never recieved a phone call or had an interview in any way). wondering if its a scam and if so, what are they trying to scam me out of? are they just trying to get me to cash a fake check?
