This number called my cell phone at 9:06AM on 1-10-09. No voice, just
two or three sets of three rising high tones. Annoying. We had a power outage this morning and AMEREN promised to call when the power was restored. I have not received a call from them unless this was it, but power was restored 40 minutes ago.

UPDATE. While writing the above paragraph Ameren called as promised from their usual number which is not the number above.

Its the CCD in Springfield IL I called it back. I dont know who they are??

them pricks called me thinking it was my brother joe but he is in europe now they'll have a good time trying to find him

its CCB in Springfield IL. They're a collections agency. They do collections for places like at&t, verison and a few other phone and car companies.

Collections Agency looking for someone called Cari. Wanted to transfer me to someone else. Totally ridiculous [***]. Called my toll free business number, not my normal land line.

Tired of calls & threats & call are call  all times day &  hold & hang up

Called today, no msg left. I called back, no answer or answering machine.

Same thing just happened to me

We receive frequent calls from this number. When their calls are answered no one ever responds, they just disconnect after two or three seconds. So we've just stopped answering the phone. They called at 8:45 AM today on our office line before I was out of bed.

The same number just called my home. Female asked for me by my first and last name (my ex-mother-in-law does have the same name though).  When I asked what the call was in regards to, I was told she was withCCB, that it was a personal matter and the call could be recorded.  She then asked if that was I.   I replied: "what can I do for you?"  This exchange happened 3 times.   Because of other scams out there, I refused to say the word "yes".  I just kept saying "what can I do for you?"  Finally, the lady got nasty, told me to have a good day and hung up.

These people are animals they will call you just to get you ryled up want answer any of your questions but wants all types of I'm for out of you tho.# JustKeepHangingUp
