unknown and left no message - claims Riverton, IL

Caller ID says Riverton.  Same caller to my wifes cell phone.

Did not answer.

I am so tired of these calls from Unknown callers. This is getting tiresome.

NoeMoeRowBoe intercepted.  Called back on another line that is outbound only, and got a recording that the survey has ended and press 1 to be removed from their list which I thought was funny since outbound CID shows a phone number with an unassigned area code.

Caller said she was from the warranty department

Within minutes, called on both landline and cell. Blocked on both now.

Called minutes ago.
Left no message.
Hence, I will never know the reason for the interruption to my life.
Checked here to make sure it wasn't my abuser trying to figure out my number.

Calls 3x a day and does not leave VM. Finally picked up and no one was there to respond. Blocked now.

No idea who this is.  Caller ID says,  "Unavailable."

Received a call on my cell phone from 217-629-4171. Since I live just minutes from the 217 area code I answered. It was a recorded message, a female voice, from the Green Study Survey. They wanted me to answer a few survey questions before they would award me my free cruise to the Bahamas. 'Let's get started. Okay?' I said nothing. 'I'm sorry. I didn't hear that answer.' When I said nothing again, they said they would remove me from the National Statistical Survey Study. HA HA! We'll see.

217 629-4171 Spam call....In 10 years I have never received a legitimate sales call from a REAL telemarketer.  They sometimes claim to be a survey.  It is an attempt to make themselves look legitimate.  They have called numerous times saying I have won a free trip to the Bahamas.

Riverton is a village in Sangamon County, Illinois. The population is about 3,455 It is part of the Springfield, Illinois Metropolitan Area.

Called twice during dinnertime. No message.  Huge pest. CallerID just said Riverton IL.

Ah, there's the loophole. Even if you are on the Do Not Call List, surveys can call. So, they call with a phony survey before hitting you with the sales .

You seem to be unaware that a "Survey" that also contains a sales solicitation is specifically mentioned in the DNC rules ... that call is NOT classified as a survey, and IS a violation.

Scammers / spammers need not look for loopholes in the DNCL.  They just ignore the DNCL, and continue their criminal activities.

Called my DNC landline, no message left. Thanks members for reporting.

they call and do nothing and hang up.  they call back and try again and I have blocked from cell phone but would like to get them to shut down
