I just searched this number and now see all of your comments. what b.s! they have called me 17 times in the last two days.

I was not happy.. i run and adult foster care home and this came in the middle of the night.  Someome stop them please!!!!!!

today is may 14. I started receiving calls from this number yesterday night. I  called by the number doesn't ring and when I answered it hung up on me.

217-633-4178 just called 12:45am est woke my wife up I am reporting to local and state authorities this is harassment and an invasion of privacy this time of day.

Omg. This is scary.. I always search up numbers that I get calls from that I don't know of and I just received this call at 10:01 PM on 05-14-08 duration was like 5 seconds before they hung up. If they call me again... I'm going to report them to a phone company or something.

Would this go on your cellphone bill? Because it was a long distance call, since I live in California and this call was from Illinois..

I JUST GOT THIS CALL AT 2:11 A.M. NO ONE SPOKE, JUST SILENCE, I TOO CALLED THIS NUMBER BACK AND GOT A BUSY SIGNAL. I REPORTED IT TO OPTIMIUM WHICH IS OUR PHONE COMPANY. THANKS

Rec. call at 5:01 am no message left

I just got a call from this number...5:30 am PST. I tried to call back and got a really fast busy signal.

I got a call at 3:17 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have gotten calls for the last three days. Once at 5:00 am, 8am, and 3:30am. When I call it back I just get a busy signal. WTF!?

I may be able to beat you all... I received my first call from this number at 11:35PM and did not answer.  Second call came at 2:30AM. Third call at 4:30AM and fourth call at 6:35AM  Has anyone found anything out?  I am going to report it to the FCC.  I would gladly be involved in any lawsuit against these people if you know of one.

ALL hours of day and night.  No one is there.  How can I make this stop???

I sware, it seems people do not read previous posts AT ALL! If you would just read some of the prior posts, you would learn what to do and what's in the process. I no longer receive these calls. Once again, this is a Level 3 cutomer! Here is an email I received today. PLEASE make your calls to the below contact person.

Well you all have fun now. After a few calls to the right persons, I no longer receive these calls and haven't since Monday am. I have listed numerous times within these posts how to rid yourself of this caller and now I'm DONE! Have fun. Seems people don't read the posts anyway :)

I've gotten multiple calls from this number and they always call in the morning between 1 and 5. They don't call just once; they keep calling, five times a day, with no exaggeration.

Today (15-May-08 5:30pm) I talked to Brandon at Level 3.  He said the number is being spoofed.  This means that the person/company making the calls have equipment that provides an incorrect phone number (so all the calls to Andrea Muldanado were to an innocent party).  It was from a VOIP customer, so that makes the number easier to spoof, I guess.

They had originally blocked the reported number, but that did not work.  They did some further investigation and determined it was coming over the the Wiltel network by a Wiltel network customer.

They have located where it is really coming from and are acting on this to try to get it shut down.  If you continue to receive calls, contact Brandon Garcia at Level3 (720-888-6386).

Ok, maybe not a solution.  I am now getting the same types of "dead air" calls, but now it's from "Private Name, Private Number".  Perhaps the same people have tried a new spoofing technique.
