comfrey - 9 Apr 2008I got a call Did not recognize the area code so let machine pick up but they left no message. I came online to do a reverse lookup and could not find anything. Did a websearch for the number and it was this Andrea Maltanado person. Googled her nothing....

danmiles - 10 Apr 2008I got one from this number. It was an automated call from "Choice Travel Reservation Centers." Outside this phone call I cannot confirm that the organization exists. The operator did not respond to requests that I be taken off the calling list or that I be connected with his supervisor. For example:
me: How can I make sure you don't call me again
operator: Well, if you are interested I can offer you a great deal on travel packages outside the US
This went on for some time until I gave up.

frustrated - 11 Apr 2008I just got the same call 4/10/08 @ 9:05pm Eastern time. I didnt reconize the nummber so I wasnt going to answer it. I just happened to be on the computer at the same time and type in and found this web site.

They better not call again because I have not given out my cell number and I'm angry that I'd get such a call.

AMT - 16 Apr 2008Apparently the company Bitwise Communications in Illinois also does business as OMNILEC. http://www.omnilec.com. Tried calling them at got a very muffled phone directory with circus music playing in the background. Seems like a fairly cheesy operation. Maybe if we all call and harass them they might do something with their customer.

i think it's probably some scam using automated machines. it probably just calls random people from a directory. i called back and got the same voicemail. Andrea Maldonado is probably a fake name lol
