217-650-2729

Received call from unknown number-reporting the government was going to issue me a $7,500 check. He wanted my birthdate to verify (didn't give), then I was to call 217-650-2729 and speak to a supervisor who would issue the check. Caller was (not native English speaking) difficult to understand. You can hear other callers in the background.

They had also done the same thing to me.

I received a call from this number 217-650-2729, they claimed to be calling from Microsft and they informed that my PC required some security which will cost around $5 only. When I agreed to them they took my card details and then installed the software. Next morning I got a call from my bank that around $2000.00 has been withdrawl from my account.
I was shocked and told them to stop payment but my money had already gone through the  Western Union where it was collected as well.

I have filed a Police Case against this number and they are investigating the matter. These people are very big scams do not give them any details. Just hang up the call and block it.
