Gman - 15 Aug 2008Caller said they were with the IL Police Patrolman's Assn. Said they were kicking off a new program to curb drunk driving and that supporters would get stickers for their home and car. He wanted to know if he could "count on my support". Gave him a little "Jerky Boys". Told him I would absolutely support the effort. Asked him if he wanted me to start arresting people I thought were driving drunk...that I would run them off the road and bust them up. Asked him if that was the kind of support they were looking for cuz I was ready 2 go. For once I got one of these guys to hang up on me instead of the other way around!

They called me and hung up before I got to the phone. Also I've read other complaints about this number calling others and either hanging up, or no one on the line. I called them from work and the mailbox is full--so I searched the number and learned about the other complaints and the address.

randy - 2 Oct 2008i live in lincoln and my brother lived in an apartent at this address it is brainards branch apartments. he got a letter in the mail complaining about getting calls from this number and that he looked up the numberon the internet and it came upto my brothers address however he had no phone in his apartment
it seems that the number is being masked somehow the phone company shouldbe alerted to this occuring because someone is doing something illegal here
tremont park is a nearby trailer park by the way, about two blocks away from these apartments
i got there almost every day

randy - 2 Oct 2008complain to verizon, as they are lincolns only land line carrier and are allowing this to happen for at least a couple of years now
