Wanted my pledged contribution to "Illinois State Patrolmen's Fund"(?). When I informed him I was unemployed, he made a few wise cracks about my being unemployed. And that shouldn't stop me from giving to their "fund". Then went on with other inappropriate chatter and laughter in the background. 6th grader prank stuff.

User has pranked me on numerous occasions and I caught him at the right time not using *67 to hide his phone #.

I'm sick of this weirdo and not only that...my neighbor apparently was prank called as well and I want this fool to stop or I will call the police.

I live in Brooks Range in Prescott, Arizona. I was pranked that he was Barack Obama. His # showed up on the caller ID.

This number has called twice today so far, twice yesterday as well.  Both times there's a sound like my voice being recorded, and then the line cuts.

I said hello 2 times and then heard someone fake snoring...then they hung up. Springfield, IL...this a central IL area code!!

If you ask the police they will tell you that they do solicite fundraising over the telephone.

That was supposed to DO NOT solicite...the police DO NOT solicite over the telephone.

My caller ID showed this number.. It has shown up a few times in the past.  Sick of it!!  AGH!

I just got a call.  Nobody there.  Caller ID says Springfield, IL.

Yep, just got a call from this number as well.  Getting annoying that's for sure.  Complete silence.

I answered, said "hello" twice. It went to dial tone. I read the other complaints and have seen the Police Solicitation on my Caller ID. This call came in as Illinois Call. Once I accidently answered a call from the Police Solicitation group before checking caller id. Never again. They are mean spirited. They try to imply you will not be protected if you don't contribute. Yuck. If you have Caller ID, use it!!

Received this call today. Same thing, the guy on the line had to repeat his speeel several times since he kept screwing it up. Then asked about mailing something... I said no. Lots of noise in background... very unprofessional. My number is on do not call list. Annoying.

Phone rang, answered, said hello twice, heard a click.  Annoying that I craned myself up from the chair a few weeks after hip replacement surgery to answer a BS call.
