This number calls my phone about 3 times daily and leaves no message.  When I call it back an operated answering machine says press 1 for english so I do and then someone answers and says "This is "John" or "Steve" or "Jane" how can I help you?"  No company name or anything to let you know who it is that's calling.

I'm pretty sure its J.C. Christiansen (debt collector) trying to mask their 800 number.

Hi guys.. Got the same call too. Its a debt collector for businesses around Northern Minnesota. The debt this collector was calling me about is for a hospital bill but they provide services for other businesses as well. Hope this helps!

JC Christensen debt collector also calls come in from another number as well a cell phone number  in Madison WI 608-338-1918  they don't leave a msg but when I call back they answer as JC Christensen

same here and IT IS  j.c christensen although i am paying doctor bill straight to clinic monthly i still get called about 1-2 times daily with diff numbers on caller id and i just keep hanging up on adam anderson !!!! and my bill IS UNDER A THOUSAND !!!!!!!!

Keep getting these calls to and they won't tell me what its about unless I identify my self which I didn't they are disguising there numbers get in sick of these calls what can I do to stop it thank you ivan

Getting the same person 2 times a day.  I pay my hospital bill online and they receive it.  The guys a real pain.  I've blocked his number  all 5 of them

Your new number is someone else's old number.  The caller is probably looking for the person who had that number before you got it.  Based on the other posts in this thread, apparently your pest is a bill collector.  The previous owner of your number was probably having financial problems.

this number keeps calling and never leaves a message, I looked up the number and its a collection business and I don't have any thing in collections.  GO figure!

Get an atty and sue for FDCPA violations.

It is illegal to call you more than once each day . When they call tell them you have them recorded and are reporting them to better business bureau

This number calls at 8:00Am which is illegal. I have my answering machine set at two rings. I got tired of telemarketers. People who are legimate leave a message. If this is for a medical bill I think I have grounds to sue. The clinic and I had a tiff over the fact that they have charged me four different times for the same encounter. Which I had paid for and showed them. But the must have turned it over to a debt collector. I have already  paid the four charges and I don't understand why I would be called. By the way they were EACH FOR $1.57. Can you believe that. And like I said even when I sent them photocopies of the checks for the first time I paid they still billed me. I checked with my insurance company papers they send to me to show what they paid and what I owed and only $1.57 ONCE was on those papers which I had already paid was on them.

Omar called from this number on Saturday morning. When I asked what did their documention show as far as when they last received a payment from me-he could not answer.

Omar wanted to know how we were going to take care of this bill today.

He learned from me that I pay what I can on my bills- when I can- and the bills eventually get paid.

To file complaints on FDCPA/TCPA violations, File complaints with your states Attorney General and theirs (if known) and also with the FTC, CFB, BBB.. Also check your credit - your entitled to a free report once a year from all 3 agency's. Check the SOL (statue of limitations) for your state.

Minn fair credit laws say if you ask them not to call you anymore they have to honor that request they call me all the time rarely leave a message Mr Adam Anderson called one time for $13.45 I went off on him the little [***] .

They are bill collectors for a balance I have with MEDICARE for $155.00 from last winter. Check out your cell phone...I have a samsung and it has - "CALL REJECT" settings on it. This would be a good time to start using them-. ........ .... good luck
