I picked up the phone, no one said hello. I then heard one beep and a recorded female voice said, "Goodbye". Then the phone hung up. When I called back, I got a busy signal. Hmmmm...

Another unsolicited call that rang off as soon as it got voice mail.

Got the same phone call this afternoon.  Didn't call the number back.

2 calls in the last hour, I'm starting to feel paranoid someone is just trying to get recordings of my voice or something

received call, then heard what sounded like a whistle blow and caller hung up phone

Phone rang twice, picked up and had a dial tone.  It said  Dyer   IN   on caller ID.

yes i just got a similar call but the caller id said unknown name, unknown number. i had to say hello twice, then the light whistle sound, then female recorded voice said goodbye and hung up. That is rather disturbing since it seems way too mysterious. I dialed *57 to do a call trace since i consider this harassment and it is also probably illegal. problem is the call trace does cost me $1.00 each time but i feel it is necessary. that has helped me several times, getting other calls stopped.
