I have had three already! One August 25th, another August 26th, and the last, hopefully, September 8th.Voicemail says it's a company looking for employees to go door to door for sales!! Now there is a profitable sales tatic, more so in this economy!! Any more calls and I'll be reporting it! On the "Do not Call list." Really people, if I don't respond on the first two calls, I'm surely not going to respond now!!

Caller claimed to be from the IRS regardinig a fraudulant tax return. When asked for the badge number he hung up.

Exact same thing...reportedly was an IRS agent. It was a robotic recording. I did nothing with it.  Got the exact same IRS robotic message from a NY city number a few days before.  Can you say SCAM!

Says there will be a lawsuit against me, when I called they refused to giveme any information.

Refrain from returning calls to mystery numbers. If you know it's a trick (as you know it is by the threat), don't bother returning the call. You may be saddled with a mean charge, or possibly get the wrong person who's not affiliated with it at all. It also confirms your number is open for business to blast with junk calls.

Yes...called several times in one morning.....EARLY!  Robotic call threatening lawsuit.  I am reporting and blocking since we are on the do not call list. Caller ID said Hammond, IN. I wish the list would actually work!

Robotic message left phone number about IRS lawsuit. Caller ID came up private. Definitely a scam.

False IRS call. they hang up when you call back.

Threatened lawsuit today if I didn't call back, two calls today from same number. I didn't call back fearing it would be charged call.

I have gotten called from this number too regarding legal matter.

Received call threatening me with lawsuit-said he was an officer with the IRS.

Callers are hard core Indian and Pakistani scammer/extortionists.  As such they regularly ignore all US law.  Call blocker is your best bet.

Absurd call on its face.  And all you have to do is go down to your local court house and check the defendants civil list.  Ignore and block the calls.  Ongoing scam.
