- david90930 September 2014 -- 2:28 pm -- Caller ID said "ARG, ARG". Robo caller left a message. The substance of the message was that we had filled out a sweepstakes drawing as long as a year ago, and we qualify to win a new car. Instructions were to call De-Ann at 877-343-4644 to find out details. Suspect this is a spam call, so we erased the message.

- BaseballRVer| 1 replyGot a call May 5, 2015 at 3:45 pm central time, and caller id was ARG,ARG from (219)779-9689. Caller stated, "A form we have here that you guys apparently submitted a while back, it could have been done as far back as 12 months ago, and it was filled out for a chance to win a brand-new automobile...in our company's annual giveaway. Now we did have entries all over where you can simply sign it yourself up to win and we did choose yours as one of our finalists so congratulations. As a qualified finalist this does guarantee you one of the top three gifts in the contest just for reaching the final stop at the giveaway. I strongly advise you to contact me here and I can give you all the details. My number here is toll free, that's 877-723-9287. I can assure you this is not a sales call so hope to hear from you soon and you guys have a great day."
I did not return the call.- Caller: Not provided
- Not fallen for the okie dokeReceived call from 219-779-9689 on 6-5-15. They asked for a return call to 877-723-9287. Stated we filled out entry to win car over 12 months ago. (never stated our names) That would definitely be something to verify if your supposedly giving away such a large prize of any kind. By stating over a year ago it's in hope the poor victim of the scam won't remember. While I remember- and I did not take the time to fill out anything of the sort! What sweepstakes entry would make someone wait a whole year? Puhleeze! *But I am curious to know what they actually say when you do call = D But I won't be making that call! I believe this is a phishing call scam to be able to find a way around calling people who are on the "Do Not Call" list.

- ChessAs as the rest. Top few to win a car. Just spam.
- Caller: ARG
- LuvFurBabies replies to BaseballRVerI received the exact same call/voice mail as you did. I too did not return their call. I did a backward search on the information and found this site and read a few posts with the same type information. Needless to say, I will not be returning their call either.
- PPPThe same, word for word, as "Not fallen for the okie doke" above. Rats. I really thought this was the one! :-)
- Caller: ARGARG
- KevinArg Arg on the caller ID with identical "you won a car" story that they were using in 2014 on callers. The name arg arg doesn't show up with a Google search.

- SmarterThanTheyThinkI got a call from ARGARG 219-779-9689 at 8:19am PST. Woman left a message exactly like the one BaseballRVer mentioned above. She never said her company name or the name of who she was trying to reach. Big fat SPAM call! Buh bye!

- SleepingJean calling to let us know an entry form we'd filled12-18 months back was selected out was selected to possibly win an a brand new automobile. Ours was chosen among thousands of submissions. Just for reaching them we could win one of the three top prizes. Assures us that this is not a sale call and hope to hear from us soon by contact this number: 877 327 1073
Lying BS, we don't fill out contest forms. Don't know what their angle is but now blocked. Funny they do leave a message.- Caller: ARG
- CA Phone UserSame message verbatim as BaseballRvin. I think they need to come up with a better pitch; in this day of age, we're all too skeptical to fall for such an old trick of "You've won a big prize!" Uh-huh, sure. What does one need to do to get these calls to stop?!
- Caller: ARG, ARG
- AdaThey're still at it. Got a call today, June 13, 2016, from (219) 779-9467, 'Jeanne'. I was told to call (877) 591-3142 for details about a prize we'd won. I called and Jeanne told me we had entered a contest during a visit to a local mall. That was a lie. I knew she was lying because we don't go to malls anymore. I immediately told her we had made no such entry. That she must have confused us with someone else and hung up.

- RobertOne of those "You've won a contest" scams, left a message on our old home number which hasn't even been active for more than a year.

- Mimi| 1 replyThey're still trying. Just got the exact same call as received by others. I'm curious to know what they try to get from the unsuspecting fool who calls them back.
- Caller: ARG
- Mike-in-MD replies to MimiThis sounds an awfully lot like other "prize giveaways" where you have to "qualify" by being in a certain demographic in terms of age, have a significant other, have a credit card and earn above a certain amount. If you qualify, you get invited to attend a high pressure sales presentation for a time share or travel club or buying club to be able to claim your "prize". Chances are if you do go, the prize will almost certainly be the "3rd place" prize of a $25 or $50 gift card to a restaurant or something similar.
- DGot same messages as above but # is 219-973 2105 . Possibly won 25000 or a car .
