Received a call - no one there.

Received a call informing me that I'd won a bunch of money somehow. I hung up before listening for very long.

they just called me & was swearing at me when I told them to quit calling & told me to hang myself & go to hell crazy pepes

I swear if I find out what company this is I am goin to report them to the police they just called me & I told them to quit calling & he started swearing at me & told he hoped I hang myself & to go to hell

annoying - no one on the other end.  have received calls from this number in the past and want them to stop.

Keep calling and hanging up. Annoying and frustrating.

Called me telling me I won a grant but couldn't tell me what my name was. Had a heavy accent

Called and said I won a grant. told him it was fishy and h/u

Someone called from this number and when I said "hello" four times, a lady said, "Can I speak to _____".  I said, "This is _____, who's this?" and she hung up.  I immediately tried to call the number back, but got a busy signal nine straight times.  If this was a legitimate call, the person would have actually (a) spoken to me, (b) called from a number that could be reached, or (c) tried to call me back when I said "Hello" for the third time.  I hate people like this, and if I knew who it was, I'd light up their phone lines at 4:00 in the morning just to aggravate them.  But, it's most likely a foreign entity phishing for contact info, so be careful.  All passwords should be changed for security purposes....just a suggestion.

Same happen to me. Bunch of scammers!

222-470-6830 ...just another reason to never answer a number you don't recognize.  Clearly a scam or spoofed number... the 222 are code is not even valid in North America.  The FCC should universally ban communications from scammers, spoofers, and phishers from being able to contact and contaminate our infrastructure with an endless variety of time-wasting calls that more often than not... intend to harm and/or deceive whomever they call for purposes that are neither legitimate nor legal.

Received a call and heard a little bit of noise. Then they hung up. I tried calling back and it said the number is no longer in service.  If i get one more jacked up call i will trace it, find them and beat the [***] out of them.

Received two calls, from incoming phone number: 222-470-6830, 1st Call) 6:39pm, Wed Jul 29, & 2nd Call) 10:05am, Thurs Jul 30.
I never answer phone numbers not recognized, and especially one with area code outside USA, in this case from Muritinia, Africa.
Checked to verify, phone number: 222- 470-6830, on Google and my first impression was confirmed, thanks to readers comments on "800notes.com",

P.S. Coincidence perhaps or something nefarious, my phone was in the open position a couple of days earlier and while sitting and bumping back on the cell phone,  it dialed out 222-222-2222, of course the call could not be connected as the area code is incorrect. Now though to have a call coming in from a Muslim African country, erie. Ever wonder if has to do with all the new security apparatus in place now. Well just speculation.

Just got a call from these people telling me I won a grant from the government for 9,000 dollars for not fileing for bankruptcy & for paying my taxes on time.. Told them I'm not stupid if I won anything from the government I would of received mail letting me know & a check from them... Since they already have my info as I am a government agent lmao

I keep on receiving phone calls from this number. I know is a scam. How can I get them to stop!!!

I received 3 calls from this # . I answered the third one & was told my name & # was chosen by the gov. for a 9,000 grant for not filing for bankruptcy & paying my  taxes on time . I'm 18 I know I don't pay no damn taxes . Scam !!!

Received numerous calls and while trying to call someone from work, it wouldn't go through because this number called AGAIN. I answered and was told I was selected to receive $9000, before they could finish I told them that it sounded like a scam and my phone was tapped and the police now have traceable evidence of their scamming. The foreign man on the other end started laughing at me and said "I don't care if reported" and hung up. I am glad that I am reading others who identify this as a scam also, I hope no one gives their information to these people.

received various calls from this # did not answered the first 2x
on the 3rd time I answered rude, and never received a call again.
also checked the number on google not a USA  #
