I will track them down and report them. These big AT&T phone giants should be the ones cutting these corn-holers off and save us time by filling out this useless message board.

- Cindy LandersI received a call from this number also. A foreigner, that I could barely understand was trying to get me to go through a process with him to check for a supposed virus on my computer. I politely told him I did not have a virus and did not need his help. Was he trying to infect my computer if I had gone along with him?

- No nameI received a call from 222-555-7777 several times and never answered the phone until today. They never left messages so answered to get a phone record of the call on my bill. I was told that an app can scramble the correct number that displays on your phone to show a random number, but the bill will show the correct incoming phone number if the call connects. So I answered. I got a foreign sounding Indian accent man who knew my name when I answered the phone. I denied it was me and asked who was calling. At that moment he hung up. I assume he got my name from his previous calls that I didn't answer and when my voice mail picked up. I checked my phone record on the number shows up as 222-555-7777. I called ATT and they said my account is protected as long as I don't give any personal information. Answering the phone will not allow them to hack into any data on my phone.

- EANSome Indian sounding person who wanted to check my computer for the TWRI virus. Checked the application and system tabs in event viewer for little red X's and yellow warning signs. Put me through to 2 people and when it got time for the third I told them I had my own IS team who could take care of any supposed virus as I was on a hardwired VPN. They hung up. What a load of crap.

- anonymous replies to Linda Vlcek| 1 replyReceived a call from 222-555-7777 also (twice actually) and called my service, Cablevision to block this number. I was told they can't block it because it's an invalid number. They said the next time this happens to call *57 and then report it to the police. Anyone else get that advice?
