223-051-6800

I have been receiving calls from this number and several others for the past couple of months concerning a First USA credit card that they claim I have.  This is not true.  I have one credit card and it's not through Chase.  It's through Midfirst.  Last night they called, and I attempted to call back, because they had used a 888 number.  I put my phone number on that do not call list.  But they called again this morning, wanting to talk to me, but when I answered, they had hung up.  I would very much like for these phone calls to stop, because I don't have a Chase credit card, and I don't want one.  I only want to be left alone by these people.

I recieved a phone call 2-day from (223)051-6800. The man on the phone sonded like he was asking for "B!tch". Then finaly spelt the name as "Beth."
The man did not ID himself, then hu. I too tried to redial the # and the # was disconected???

The first 2 times this number called I did not answer, but the calls came in at 2 and 3 in the morning. I am waiting for another call to answer and post more.

I received a call from this number at 8:05p tonight while I was away from home.  They did not leave a message.  I looked up the area code to see if it might be someone that I know, but it's not listed as a US area code.  That's when I got a little suspicious and googled the number and ended up here.

I saw this number on my caller ID...I tried to call the number back and it does the beeps and the i am sorry we are unable to complete your call...blah blah.  I received another call from an 888 number after this call, so I googled it and it was a First USA credit card.  I do have one of those, however, I am not and haven't ever been delinquent so I assume that they were trying to sell something like "payment protection" if I was to get hurt or something....

I said (for the recording?)  speak to me or face the answering machine in the future -- I'm not picking up for this number again.

Received call but they hung up as I answered.  I have previously received calls recently from other numbers asking for verification information for trade shows that I did not attend.   Guessing that a person or illigitamate business is mining personal information.

I got a call today.  Any number that starts with 051 and an area code that doesn't exist it definitely fishy.  I figured they were telemarketers trying to disguise their phone number.  After the reading the posts above, I will be even more careful of "phishing" scams.

I have received two calls from 1-223-051-6800 in the last hour. Luckily I'm the type that if i don't know the number they can leave a message. Well this is yet to happen yet, wonder how many more times they will call today?

Business phone was called.

They call several times per week, changing the number slightly (but obvious enough that it's the same scumbag)

I just got a call on my work phone from (223)051-6700.  My work number is a private extension, so it is very strange to get a call here from an unknown number.

My work extension shows 'missed' calls, and this was the number:  223 051 6800.  As that wasn't a number familiar to me, I 'googled' it and came across this list of comments.  Like tschup on 10/24, I'm wondering why this came across my private phone extension.  It's a good thing, I guess, that no matter whether I'm at home, at work, or using my mobile:  I don't take calls from numbers I don't recognize!

I recieved a missed call on my cell from this number, i just wanted to look up the area code and i came across this site, they havent called back but it was weird...

I saw the number and "out of area" on my caller ID. I decided to answer, and a man with a heavy accent asked for me to "talk about health insurance." I told him I didn;t want insurance and to put us on the "do not call" list. Then I hung up, but he was still talking.

Got a call this morning from 2230516600. I could not find it as a USA area code but world wide it says it is from Mali! That is why people cannot call back unless they know the international codes. Try looking up world-wide area codes and see what you find!  Just don't pick up the phone if you see it again.
