Scam 3 minutes of listening to someone breathing and the call center noise could hear Asian/Indian guy trying to tell someone their computer was hacked and they needed to give them $ to fix it.

CallerID says "Out of area". Asian/Indian scam call.

Caller (possible Asian accent) stated that they "received error reports" from my computer; said there is malware on my computer causing it to slow down; I basically said I didn't believe anything thing he was saying and then I hung up.

network, internet or citrix connection went down then in seconds miraculously I received a call from a company claiming to be called 24x7 support.  They said " you called for support?" I said who hired you and an Indian accent yelled to some guy in back and I hung up.  Let me reiterate they called me..scary.

Phone rang at 7:50 a.m., when I picked it up I got hold music. At that hour I thought it was a call-back from a dr's office, but obviously not. Jerks. I was asleep!

Machine picked up and the dude says "HALLO" hung up right away
when he realized he was talking to machine - hah!

Received calls from this number twice today on my cell. Didn't answer. If they really need to get a hold of me they can leave a msg. I did a little investigation on my own. The number +212 is the country code for Morocco.

i let him go through the whole routine, took him about 4 minutes as his english was terrible. then i told him i don't use IE or Mocrosoft. I figure he won't make much money wasting time on guys like me.

Just didn't answer. After reading these comments, I'm glad I didn't.

to many ppls out there trying to get your info. No company is going to call you to tell u r going to get a bug / virus/ damage computer. they will let it happen and then let u go buy a new one. so don't give no info.... they want your money.... Tel. they called me from 011-21-223-456-7810 its a scam  dont give personal questions...... as for a call back number.

I got a call from 2122234567810 today 7/23/2014.  I let it go to voicemail and no message was left.

7/23/14: I have received 5 phone calls from 212-234-567810 in the last two days.
From reading all your responses, I'm sure it's a SCAM too. Have not picked up & let it go to voicemail.  Not once have they left a message.

Man with Indian accent called today telling me that there was dangerous software on my computer. I told him that it sounded like a scam and he began yelling at me abusively and telling me that I would have to get rid of my computer. I hung up at this point. Avoid this number like the plague. This guy made me very angry.

This guy called telling me my computer was compromised.  I told him it wasn't.  The week I've had, I ended up swearing at him and said not to ever call back.  Most places would've hung up immediately after the swearing started.  He didn't.  I hung up on him.  He called me back a few minutes later and said it was him again and that there was nothing I could do about it!  It has to be a scam!

This number called and left no mesg on my cell 7/29/14.  but this same number called my mother in law and she thought it was from her internet provider so she did give the her info and it ended BAD she had to close her accounts they took all she had in there she could not even pay her bills that mo same guy with terrible English convince her that her computer crashed and he could fix it for her on his end  he said it would be $400 but they would only take out 40 a month

There is no 223 area code in the United States.

The number 223 is the "country code" for Mali in Africa.

If you are getting calls from this number, it is probably a 100% SCAM ARTIST trying to get your personal information.
