223-987-5200

This is the first one I have received from a 223 area code.  I never answer calls if I don't know the number.  05-19-08 8:30am, followed immediately by a call from area code 916.

Received a call on May 19, 2008 at 9:51 CDT (-05:00 GMT).  When I answered, they hung up.  No follow-up calls.  The phone they called is an unlisted cell number.
I called back, blocking my number, and got an error message that call couldn't go through as dialed.

recieved 4 calls yesterday...may 19, 08..

i'm in florida....phone company says there is no state with a 223 exchange

I received a call from 223-987-5200 today at 8:46AM to my cell phone. I didn't answer the phone, and they didn't leave a message.

i'm wondering if many of those calls are being generated from & inside  southern states...you in the south ? florida

phone co says those calls area codes do not match any state.... & the + sign appearing before the number on my phone is highly suspicious...

Getting calls from +2239875200  -- It's an international call (tried to call it back on my cell and my cell said I could not b/c I didn't have international calling). My dh answered it yesterday and it's Applied Bank.  The rep my dh spoke with said he was in India.

Debt collectors

Repeated calls four to five times a day asking for Curtis Renfroe.  I have told them every time that I do not know such a person.  They just keep asking.  even on the call they will not respond to questions, they just keep asking for Curtis Renfroe.

I too have been receiving phone calls at least 2-3 times a day for the past two weeks from the number 223=987-5200. i answer and no one is there. they leave a blank voicemail. i have tried to call the number back and an error message says that is an invalid area code. i started receiving these calls while i was vacationing in florida and they have continued since i've gone back home. i am getting very annoyed and frustrated. is there any way to block these calls?

I'm getting calls from 223-987-5200 also. I have a new cell number, thought that was why. I live in California. I have not answered any of the calls nor am I calling them back, but I would like to know of a place where I can complain about this - it reeks of scam.

I live in ND. I have gotten 5 or 6 calls from 223-987-5200 in the past 2 weeks. I quit answering them after the 2nd call.

I live in St. Charles, Missouri, just outside of St Louis, MO. Tonight was the second time they called. 223-987-5200. It never rings long enough on my cell to answer. Now I know I won't try to answer.

Just got my first call from this number. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize as I figure if it is important, they will leave a message. No message. Tried to call them back, got the error message. though I can't block these calls, I save them in my address book on my cell and then assign "no ring" to them. I still have to deal with a Missed Call symbol, but at least they don't make me interrupt anything.

I'm in Mississippi and they called me this morning but didn't leave a voice mail. I tried to call the number back but the operator told me it was an invalid number. I recently looked up the area code and it is near a country called [***], not Nigeria.
