no message left - caller id said NAME UNAVAILABLE.  Is the 3 zero local exchange prefix indicatative of anything?  I've never seen that before on a phone number.

There is no 000 prefix in the US. This call comes from out of the country to avoid prosecution. It is a scam to "lower your credit card interest rates" as allowed by the new "law" in hopes you will give your CC info out.
They don't even know who they are calling and only address you as Mr/Mrs Cardholder.

Just received a call from this number.  Anyone with common sense would know that there are no exchange numbers with "000".  If it has "unknown caller", no id with the number, or a company I've never done business with, I don't answer.  The do not call list only works sometimes, and there are enough loopholes and enough entities around which try to ignore it anyway.

Message said to press nine to speak to someone.  I pressed nine and 'Amber' answered.  I asked what business, company, or corporation she worked for and she answered "The Rate Center".  I told her I was on the do not call list and that I would pass the information the to the states attorney general.  She put me on hold, returned and stated that the call was being recorded, I replied that I would also start recording, she did not agree to be recorded and hung up.

Name Not Found call from 224-000-8956.  We're on the do not call list. THEN as I am typing this I received another call from BRIGHTKEY 301-604-3305- too close together not to be linked.  When I answered I instructed the caller to remove this from their list - as my number is on the do not call list.  They hung up before I could finish the sentence.

Getting calls from this number, will not leave message on answering machine.  Also when answered recorded voice says this is and important message for....(no name given) then silence and the machine hangs up...Number is now blocked.  As we have no outstanding debts there is no reason to be calling us.  This is this the third number I have reported in less than a month all have been similiar all are blocked...also see phone #'s NCO Financial Services 443-550-7955(4/24/10) & 866-360-7475(4/27/10); TFZ, LLC 909-842-8106 (5/6/10) & 408-587-2198; Name Unavailable 224-000-8956 (5/6/10) & 866-296-7952 (5/6/10) Name Unavailable.  WE ARE ALSO ON THE STATE AND NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LISTS BOTH HOME AND CELL.

Received a call from this number (never received a call before from a number with 000 as the prefix ??), and the caller ID read, 'NAME NOT FOUND'.  Obviously, I did not answer this call and they left no message.

I am on a "Do NOT Call" list.  I refuse to answer a call from a number I don't recognize.  Also, if it was important, you would have left a message for me to return the call, so please do not call me again.

Got a call from this number on 5/10. Just like the others, "000" is an odd exchange prefix. The area code is Illinois.
