They just called again, 8 am on a Saturday morning.  This time the caller ID says Cary IL.  I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and answered the phone.  This prick on the other side of the phone asks for my wife and I tell him she isn’t available. (She is sleeping right next to me)  The F*$#ing guy hangs up, no response; no, I will try back, nothing.  I don’t know who you are or where you are from, but I will find you…. :(

Now they are calling me!  I'm afraid to go out of my house!   I've got to walk my dog.

I get calls from this number too.  It's very frustrating.  As soon as you answer, they hang up.  People have said they are either keeping track of when you answer and when you don't so they know when to call you.  I've also heard that they call more than one number at once and connect to whoever picks up first - then the rest get dumped.  Either way, it's pissing me off to no end.  I don't get solicitors, but I constantly get "charities" asking me to donate.  It's probably them...

They keep calling me too.  The last time about a minute ago.  I would love to find out who they are and make them stop.

We get the same calls- one very errogant sob on the line-(told him my wife did't want to talk to him- he asked how do you know? went ballistic on his ass)  wont take no for an answer- finally tonight find out they say they're with Lake County Illinois Jaycees looking for yearly donations. If this is true its a real black eye for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone is calling from this number registered to Cary, IL. first time left a growl as a message and tonight he left a message that said "Awww that was crap man". Tired of this person calling.

I am reporting this number.  I am getting 3 to 4 calls a day every day from them/him/her whoever it is.  When I answer they hang up.  PLEASE stop this person from calling.  You have tons of complaints but it is still happening.  STOP THE CALLS!  I am reporting abuse! THANK YOU

These calls keep coming thru!  Why can they not be stopped.  This is ridiculous & very annoying!

this number calls us 5 to 6 times a day, finally last night they actually spoke and told my husband that they were from jaycees.  i called jaycees today and complained.  im hoping it works, this is out of control

I get these calls as well. But if you take the time to pick up the phone and stop hiding from a phone call. You can talk to them in a nice manner and just tell them that you are not interested. It's very simple people. P.S. Charities do not have a do not call list. Only because they are trying to BETTER YOUR COMUNITY. WHY IS THAT SO WRONG.

Called twice now. They never leave a message, doesn't matter, I won't talk to them anyway. I blocked them. I love my phone. I'm a hag and proud of it. Ha!!!

OH, they are not in my area code, so if they're trying to better their community, call people in your area code and community. I'm not bettering someone elses community. They are scammers.

I have gotten a lot of these types of calls lately.  They call constantly and hang up.  They hope that you will get annoyed and call back.  The last one I called back was for magazine sales.  They do this because by your calling back they are "not" soliciting as telemarketers.  Also you called them showing a willingness towards their product so they can now legally call you.  Just a new way to bend the laws

Your NAÏVETÉ is astounding.  Anyone who knows a thing about charities using telemarketing calling knows the percentage to charity can be miniscule if not outright non existent. In this day and age of computers calling thousands of numbers in a minute spoofing outgoing cid.  Ability to fight this as you say is a battle already lost you just don't know it yet.  Luckily with call treatments and white listings and gadgets people pick up you might be able to deal with it.  In the future looks like the government is coming in with a fix with voice captcha and community blacklisting before the call gets through to you.  Until this gets implemented this has been a horrible battle reasonable people like yourself don't realize how 20 phone calls in a hour can affect a recipient.  Some of the sweetest people in the world sound horrible on the phone after getting deluged by collectors threatening to come to their house for debts of people who no longer live at or had never lived at that address. I find your reasonable solution to be reasonable in the 90's (possibly) not reasonable today.

I met someone on a dating site who uses this #+1 (224) 357-6636. He started giving me the sad story that his ex left him stranded in africa on an antiques venture. I stopped him there. Ive had someone make me believe that kinda story before. I asked him if he was actually from africa and he assured me he lived in brookport, il. I was just thinking about it and decided to google his number. Glad i did. DO NOT answer calls from these people as they may or may not be out to cause damages. My experience is jerks LIVING in africa prey on the kindhearted women over here. They met a real [***] this time ;) report these calls to your local PD.
