This number called my DNC listed landline today at 0914 hours.  I knew it was a scam artist so I picked up the receiver slightly and put it right back down again.  Then I blocked my number on a different phone and called the number back.  A generic recording basically informed me that it was a generic recording, claiming I must be calling them back for more information or to ask that they not call again.  (If they weren't criminals, they'd already be complying with the Federal DNC list.)  I was given options to talk to a representative, to be put on their DNC list, or to leave a voice message.  I opted 3 and told them they were illegally calling phone number on Federal DNC list.  As they are obviously scam artists (because legitimate companies comply with the law), it won't do any good, but if they continue calling illegally after they've been warned then that will give me license to be as abusive as I want to be because they will have proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that they are criminals.

Called 0900 hours, no message, caller now blocked.

Its a phishing scam, they're looking for working phone numbers.

Didn't work - the Call Blockers sent it straight to the crap zone.  Same likely turds called using 240 573-7979 a few days ago - same results - call flushed straight to the teleotoilet...

Any call with CID "Unavailable", “Consmer DBT RLF",“Customer SVCS", "Consumer SVCS", "Wireless Caller" Etc. is 99.9% likely to be a scumbag - DO NOT Pick-UP and engage the turds - it only confirms the number has possible suckers on the end and it gets circulated as part of the universal scammers phone list...

Need a class action suite suing the telecoms for failure to police their stinking networks and thereby being part of the fraud that is being attempted and too often succeeding on their customers.  If the telecoms were not already buying the politicos that block the laws that would make this a reality you'd see the telecoms develop solutions to stop this sort of crap in a heartbeat...  The Telecoms make money off the scum bags AND the defrauded and couldn't care less as shown by the way they DO NOTHING !!!

Now they spoof area codes I have had calls this week supossidly from Denver, Des MoinesUpeer Marlboro MD, Dublin CA . Those lying bastages are probably in India or in some basement in America.  Anyway when they call instead of blocking I simply say" I will be right back I need to go get my credit card hang " then since it is always around noon I lay the phone down next to my radio tuned to 1110 KFAB and givem a dose of  Rush Limbagh .Usually the morons hang up after about 3-7 minutes though I did have 1 imbecile moron who hung on for 11 minutes. These scammers are the kings and queens of dooshbaggery.

nothing you or anyone else can or will do to stop these sh*theads, they will persist in calling anyone at any time forever. the telephone companies love them because it is billions in revenue for them. the feds under the wart obama will also do nothing either, nobody in the current admin is worth anything nor do they care. reporting to the feds does absolutely nothing. your only recourse is to either not answer your phone or block the calls, but be prepared to block calls forever cause these jerks constantly change the spoofed numbers that they use thinking that they are smarter than you are. if the dumb and stupid people would not answer the phones and fall for this crap, these scumsuckers would not make any money and eventually if no money is being made they may drop off some, but sadly, more probably would take their place. we are stuck with putting up with this crap forever, so just continue to ignore, block, do not answer. you can do nothing to stop it.

I called them back and a recording said "Welcome to our voice management platform, it is likely you have been called by one of our  service representatives."" Blah blah these idiots actually thing they are a big business with a platformLOL. The reality this scam is more than likely ran from a basement with some moron sitting in his dads basement at age 40 in his piss stained underwear calling people with this Rachel scam while jerkin to porn with the other.  That is the reality of these losers. I called them back 3 times and filled up their voice mail with news talk radio 1110 KFAB

This call actually came in identified as "Harassment" so I ignored the call this morning!

They just won't stop or learn.  Nomo zapped for the 4th or fifth time.  I've lost track

I reported this to the FTC complaint site. Hope there will be some action.

Did you ever stop to think that the number might have been spoofed and you may have just harassed an innocent person? That puts YOU in the wrong if that is indeed the case.
