I just got a call from this number

Talking tooo fast I could not get the number to call back
I dialed 224-699-6000 and
it said if you want to remove your number from....
Press 1

I don't like this call on Sat before 10am :(

Receive this call quite often & sometimes leaves a message that cannot be understood.  I think they use Chase and I do have cc with Chase, but have no problems with them.  They do not know why I am receiving these calls.  Scary!

This number is for Chase Bank credit card services. It is not necessarily for collection of unpaid bills. It might pertain to ANY matter with a Chase Charge card.

This is a scam. They claim to be from the disputes/fraud dept. at Chase. I have confirmed with Chase that this phone number is not associated with Chase in any way.  Do not press any buttons or call any numbers or give out any information.  They are phishing.

Actually that is 100% incorrect. I have confirmed with Chase that this is, indeed, their number. I then called it just to check, and got a recording directing me to call the number on the back of my Chase card.

When you are posting something like this, it's wise to be sure of the information you're posting. This is about as irresponsible a post as I've seen.

They claim to be calling from Chase,
We sell appliance parts and they claim that we charged a customer twice for a purchase,
which the customer they claim we charge twice never bought anything from us.
Be careful do not give them any information

They called regarding a correspondence course charged to a Chase card.

I don't have a Chase card?

I called chase this morning, I had a call earlier this morning. This # is not fraud, they confirmed it is part of chase.

This number is from Chase and IS NOT A FRAUD!!

BUT you should always call the number on the back of your card.. NUMBERS CAN BE SPOOFED even if it is a correct number. Never give personal info to someone calling you. ALWAYS CALL THEM BACK at their corporate number!!

I got a call from this number at work, with a mesage too fast to really understand, barely understood the "call the number on the back of your card."  I called Chase and they said it was not their number and to not respond to it.

This number called my work this morning. Claiming he was Sundeep 229-669-600 calling from Chase Card Services about a credit card dispute. He hung up very abrubtly in our conversation. It seemed weird. I called Chase, and despite what some other people are claiming;

Received a call both at home and work, could not understand message and DID NOT return the call.  I get really tired of the scams and I'm paying the phone bills. What happen to the do not call list?????

This turned out be a chase number I called my card services and they verified they did call me with that number and it was for a fraudulent charge that was on my account that they were resolving it it my suggestion like the previous post to call your the number on the back of your card to always make sure you are talking to write people

I've reported them to Chase abuse after reading the comments above.  I do have a CCC however, did not send them any message and they left an 800 # to call them back.  Which was hard to understand since she was talking a mile a min.  Good Luck and thanks for this blog!!!

i got this call because i was disputing some charges on my chase account and they were contacting me about them

I recieved 2 voicemails this am at work number, which I never give out to anyone other than trusted entities. The same message was recorded similar to other posts on this site, very fast, barely intelligible, non native english chatter.  

Tried the call back number 888-489-8452 and got a message to receive $500 worth of grocery coupons.
This is suspiciously spam marketing. Very annoying.

There's a similar pattern here, and that's that I too had recently disputed an error with Chase regarding  a refund from merchant that did not get posted to my account.

I received a call from this number, they told me they were part of Chase and that they had to verify I had my card in my possession and asked me to read me the number.  I refused.  They told me if I would like to verify they really are with Chase I can call them back and they started to read me a number.  I hung up and called the number on my card.  Chase told me this was fraud and that I did the right thing.  There is no problem with my card.

Maybe the number they called from is a chance number, but this could easily be spoofed.

I called 1-224-699-6000 and it came up as the do not call list and asked to enter the # you do not want called. The call from JP morgan Chase was from phone # 888-297-0768. when i called this number they said it was in regards to a dispute charge on my account. This was true but when I was asked for my card # I refused and was told to call the # on the back of my card.
