I am so sick of getting calls to "update my google listing"

Pre-recorded message - google garbage.    Why can't these folks find real employment.  Why can't the telephone companies be held responsible for this garbage.

Scumbags. What I find especially annoying is they used my 800 number. I pay for their cold calling BS.

Someone just called claiming to be google Plus representatives. When I asked who I was speaking to they hang up on me. I am in the do not call list.

Called my company for the thousandth time trying to get us to "update our Google listing". Told them we are already working with an SEO company to fix that and before I could finish my sentence he hung up on me. This is NOT Google. He tried to say "I'm searching for your company but its not pulling up on the front page and we can put you on the front page". Of course we werent showing up. We know about SEO and rankings sir. And the only way you can automatically get on the front page is by AdWords which you pay for which I'm sure is what he was selling. Also when you press 1 to speak to a person, it starts by talking about building a website or something that involves money. That's a big NO.

Usual routine -- they call, caller ID just repeats the phone number, I don't pick up, they don't leave a message. And we all live happily ever after. Josh Ernest: this is neither the time nor the place.

Got this call and was already in front of my computer.
Googled it and sure enough I found it to be  a scammer.
Answered the call and waited to hear someone say hello?

I replied with "who are you to ring my phone at this hour with such disrespect?"
He started with his sales BS and I asked if I could say something.

I told him to go F himself and if he called me again I would and can trace where it came from and sue him and his family for everything they were worth.
Sometimes fun to mess with these lowlifes that can't find a real job.

got the same recorded message. tried the other day to take off calling me but still calls. been calling for about a year now every two days. annoying !!! would like to sue them

They called and hung up as I was saying hello.  They are not with Google or Adwords.. Google basically contacts people through email and their online chat.  They do not cold call or telemarket.  As far as being rude to the representative that is trying to talk to me, I try to imagine their family waiting for mama or daddy to get home at night with their food bought with their small paycheck. Even university graduates are finding it impossible to find decent jobs. Look at the person as a human with humanity.  Not everyone who telemarkets CHOOSES that job, so I try to treat everyone the way that I would like to be treated and not assume the worst.  After all is it 2014. We should be able to realize that assuming the worst starts "wars". Anyway, they are calling my doctor's office phone. A doctor that they probably couldn't even afford in their dreams  It is wonderful however that we can vent here. Barbara  what ever you are smoking you best keep smoking it, these folks are scammers no doubt ask Google . You are probably one of them I get these tele -scammer daily sometimes three or four times. If there so righteous as you say then where is the business license and ID required by normal businesses then Hmm Barbara
