This number has been texting threatening statements. False statements and causing great trouble in my life. I would like to find the name of this person

Made up lies and tried to start lots of trouble. Knew a lot about me. Very smart and vrry annoying

I received very offensive txt:

do you mind me asking where you are located?  i'm in canada, and this number sent me a text that knew a lot about my recent life.  trying to figure out if this is some defacto prank number that anyone can use to prank others?

This phone number started texting me all kinds of thing about my personal life and about my job. And then once I stopped answering a different number started texting me.

Do not respond to unwanted texts or emails from questionable sources. Several mobile service providers will allow you to report unwanted spam texts by simply texting/forwarding it to 7726 (or “spam”) to enable the providers to prevent future unwanted texts from the specific sender.

For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Hello- any luck with the investigation- I have been getting the same text very frightening and disturbing against my 3 yr old.  any info you can share to try to prove who is this person texting.

I have gotten about 40 texts from this number 225-244-6256 it seems they are also using a Spanish translator-  too much personal/family intimate information- only someone close to me would know.  I made a police report but no luck it seems I have to be dead in order for them to investigate.  so worried, any luck proving how this works? im sure its different cowards hiding behind this to hurt people.  any help please...
