just called. looked like local cell number. asked for me by name but sounded like a cold caller - I said she wasn't in and did she want to leave a message. caller kind of stalled, then said 'no message'

I just received a phone call from someone trying to get me to sign up for direct buy.   When I said I was interested they tried to insist I give them a reason.   I requested they put me on their "Do Not Call" list.   I am puzzled as to why they called as I've been on the National do not call list for over a year.

They are working the area for sure...mentioned 'Direct Buy' but I didn't listen to the pitch...another scam for sure.

Strange. why a local number. when they asked for my name I said no thank you and hung up. said they were from Direct Buy address

This is also the Direct Buy address for the local Direct buy. So I don't know what it is. I could hear hundreds of other people calling other people. Was a call center for sure. I know someone that use to be a member of Direct Buy. I went with them once and was not even allowed in to go to the restroom. it is very privite. so why would they be doing this.

Direct Buy...I want no part of them anyway but just to see what they were I googled "direct buy complaints" and saw that I would never deal with them anyway. Unless they have changed you basically join the club for a year at a few thousand dollar cost and they sell you home products below regular price. No thanks!! Go ahead, try it...google "direct buy complaints".

They would not let me attend the "sales pitch" without my husband present to consent.  When I said I don't need my husband's permission to make purchases, they still refused to set up appointment if he would not be attending

This number keeps calling.  They leave no message other than HELLO HELLO HELLO!  Then you can't even call it back!
