- EasyBest way to handle these calls, if you have the time, is to go along with the pitch. Let them think you are interested. Let them believe you might just be gullible enough to buy something unseen over the phone. After they have wasted their time ( as they only get paid for a sale ) then you can tell them that you are not the responsible party in the home, hell tell them your only a kid and they have to call back at another time to speak to your parents. Believe me you will soon be off everyones list.

- LesAutomated call to peddle home burglar alarms. You the one. Starts out by quoting FBI facts. They got my cell phone this time and I answered without looking at the caller ID. My bad. These people have made answering a phone call a don't do it thing. Guess I have to be careful about reading cell phone caller ID too.
- Caller: Unknown security alarm scam
- Call type: Telemarketer
- NokAn electronic recording voice said that information has been received indicating that my home is at risk for fire and burglary. They offered "free" security installation in exchange for placing a small sign in the front yard. What a great deal! Sounds completely believable and 100% hype-free. The Call Type should have a Scam selection in the drop-down.

- Dave in Flthey kept calling my cell phone so I filed a report with the fcc every time they called , after 3 reports they stopped and now they are on to my home phone (also on the do not call list) so I started reporting them again.Seems like they moved shop from GA. to LA. , maybe the FCC will hand out a nice big fine that will make their business not worth it any more if enough people complain .
