These are the same people who use the number 208-237-4461   They use the same message about 'you have been selected to lower your credit card interest rate if you call now before the next billing cycle.'  

I get a call from this number typically within an hour of getting a call from 2082374461. They don't say anything or even play a recording.

I've been getting these calls for 3 years now. Just got one from this number today, but they've used dozens of different numbers to call me. They seem to come in waves. I'll go without hearing from them for a few weeks, then get multiple calls a day for a week or so. If you say anything besides what they want to hear, they hang up on you and you go back into the dialing rotation. These people are scumbags and I hope they all die in a fire. :-)

Yes, yet another chance to get scammed.  I've been getting these calls on my cell phone for over two years now.  Always says that this is my last chance blah blah blah.The number displayed is never a working number.

Scammers & Crooks.  Like Kevin in Utah, I too got a call from this number within an hour after a call from 208-237-4461.  I could smell them, so I did not even bother to answer.  Stinking Crooks!

I am so sick of getting these calls. I have gotten 3 with in the last hour. How can we stop this crap! I am the same as all of the above comments. And to beat all of this I don't own any credit cards!

I have the same story.  Tried a whistle, yelling, being nice etc.  Now I don't answer any unknown long distance number and save it to my contacts with no ringtone after I google it.  I assign these numbers a bad name starting with Z so they dont get in the middle of my real contacts.  They still call but at least I don't hear it when they repeat a # and get as angry.  Hate them too!

This is a scam. They max out any available balance you may have on your card as a fee to negotiate better rates on your cards. These little call centers pop up faster than the FTC can track them down and prosecute. They spoof the caller ID number to avoid being located. The employees think they are taking inbound calls at a legit call center operation. They post employment ads on Craigslist in Orlando and Phoenix. I think these operations are operated by the same group of people. It is a crime to Spoof Caller ID in an attempt to defraud someone. Tell them there are huge whistleblower rewards if you can keep them on the phone. Apply for jobs if you live in the area to determine their whereabouts. They can't operate if they think people on the inside will turn them in.

Same thing with myself!! It's not a working number. Today I didn't answer the phone so they called me 5 times. IM tired of these calls.

I really tick them off. It's not politically correct, but I usually say something racially charged to get them really riled up. Or if they have a southern accent. I'll say things like "Im sorry, I don't do business with ni##&$s." They start yelling "what did you say?!?!"
I tell them "must be tough to be a deaf ni##&$r telemarketer".
I've had two call me back from different legitimate numbers after I block the spoofed numbers. I was able to report those to the FCC. Don't know what ever became of it...
And if you think it's wrong to say it, tough. Nothing riles people up like race relations.

Same old scam .... card services.

Got the same call today, didn't answer since my phone is on vibrate at work. I hate these calls, I'm so tired of getting them and always from a different number, yesterday it was from 2135592569. Current Caller ID app lets me block them I can either send the directly to VM or pickup and hang up (right away). I usually send to VM just in case it is someone I actually want to talk to.

Last chance to Lower credit card rates

Wow I have blocked numerous calls from these [***] and they still keep calling. I am sure I will miss an occasional call i want to answer but due to these [***] I don't answer just block the caller.  

I finally got fed up with the crap and blocked all areas codes and white listed the ones I actually need/use. For other things like 888 numbers I just send strait to voice mail.. if they need something they can leave a message.

This will lock down all the random calls that are spoofed from exotic places like North Dakota or Maine. I'll finally know when someone is calling me its someone I might actually want to talk to. Stupid it has to come to this, but the FCC and telecom companies aren't doing squat to prevent the companies who are providing the telcom services to these guys. They shouldn't be allowed to spoof their numbers.
