Said was callinf from New York with a local area code.  Wanted info about bank account so He could send me money his company owed me.

This guy asked me if I was Mrs. $#%^ and I told him I was one of them but would not tell me more. Who ever this is needs to be stopped.

so what do we do if we get a call and how does one report the person

I just saw in louisiana this number is a new cingular company .. not sure whats up with that

Cingular wireless  LLC in louisiana and georgia etc. This s is a new company however I also found this site with scams from the same number....confusing... I will keep investigating on my own.

Got a call twice.  Caller spoke Chinese.

Just received call from this number and I was told i just won a vacation and $1000 voucher. Told them i needed someone who spoke clear english They didn't understand so i hung up.  30 mins later they called back told them i was with the police dept and they hung up

I got this call too but let the answering machine pick up.  I live in the BATON ROUGE, LA area and '225' is our area code. I'm sure its some scam some way or another.

I also recieved a phone call from this number. The person on the other line told me they were with a law firm that wanted to file a suite aginst me for a loan I never took out.

I just got a call and when we kept overtalking wach other he told me to
F--- you twice. He was foreign and said he was with the nationwide sweepstakes.  When I said not interested he was rude and then cussed me.
Don't trust this number.

I got this call today too.  No message.

Got a call today, after about the 8th time.  It is from a man with a foreign accent, saying he wants my email address and he has a package that he needs to send to us from the airport.  I refuse to give it to him and keeps insisting that I give it to him.  I told him I do not want to accept the package, to send it back.  Today when he called, he asked if my brother was alive.  This is a threat.  Can the police do something about this????  He is calling all hours of the night and day.  I am fed up with them.
