I received a call on my cell from this number.  The person identified themself as "Chris from Disney".  He knew my email address and my birthdate.  He told me that I had been on line with Rogers and that I had won a trip to Florida.  First of all, I never entered any contest.  I told him I wasn't interested and hung up.  I then called Rogers and passed the information on to them.  The person at Customer Support told me that they wouldn't have given my information to anyone and that they had no contest running.  I asked that they pass this information on to their Security and Fraud Section.

I received the same call, they were persistent with getting my credit card number. I then explained how I wasn't interesting and they began to get defensive and angry, so I hung up. They had called back again, explaining how they know and had all of my personal information, and kept telling me that I was the one who entered the contest. I do not remember leaving all my personal information online to a contest.

I received the same sort of call but I did not understand  who was calling. The woman wants to confirm my identity and she was speaking so fast  that she did not let me the time to tell her that I was not interested!! I just hung up but I'm worried cause my name is not in the phone book...and I NEVER participate to any contest online or everywhere else.

    Hey everybody,

I just got a call from this number today and they were saying the exact same stuff.  The only thing I could think of is that we all have to have something in common, like shopping on a certain website which we would have input all our information.  In the last while i've shopped on a few sites which is why I;m thinking it has something to do with this.

I got the same call today at 2:13pm, saying that I won a 4 day resort trip to Florida and that she just needed to confirm some information and get my credit card #.  She also said that I entered a contest online, and I told her NO I didn't, and then she said you do have a Mastercard.  Well the bells were load and clear and I told her NO and to stop calling me.  That I have a cruise booked already in the next 4 months.  She did state that she was calling 'Disney Cruises'.  Will be dropping a line to Dinsey about this one.

Don't be scammed and please don't give them the time of day.  If a person really did win a prize, you don't need to give them a credit card.

Just sent a email to Disney Cruises, here is what I said:

I would like to know if it's common practice for you to call people us and tell them that they have just WIN a 4 day Water Resort trip to Florida with a cruise.  And then ask for a credit card.  In some cases, they have alot of personal information about the person, but they need your credit card for you to claim the prize.

What is wrong with you people, I have a phone number call me everyday for 3 days saying the same thing that I won a trip from a contest that I entered online, which I have NOT.  You are getting alot of people in Canada very upset with theses calls.  And you need to STOP them or investigate them.  Because they are identifying themselves from Disney Cruises.

The phone is 226-240-7869, just google it and you will find a lot of upset people.
