received a few calls to my fax machine

Came up with unknown name on Caller ID and it was a machine dialer with a taped message. (Have received between 5-10 calls. Beginning to average 1 per day.)

Caller my fax line as well. Did not answer. Caller ID showed Baller Inc?
No info on net.

Called and number 231-224-2048 on caller ID. Did a reverse look-up and the info said only caller from FREMONT MI phone provider LUCRE? Lucre means dirty money? Anyone have any ideas here? BTW Im in Canada.

You won a trip from Macy's Bloomingdale and Walmart to Cancun Mexico and Disneyland.  Wanted $249 for first 2 people each and person 3 and 4 were free.  Free food, drinks including alcohol, free hotel resort, evening entertainment shows, etc were all free;  then I was to press 1 for further details, which I didn't.  Said a family member entered my name! Doubt it, I live in Northern Canada..no Macy's here or Bloomingdale's either.  All my relatives are Canadian too!  Be weary of such calls.  They average once a week here.  What can I do to stop them?

I have seen this number a few times on my call display when I come home lately.  I seem to recall this number a couple of times in the past and I was SUPPOSED to be off the damn call spam list twice already!!!

My home phone, voicemail, and fax numbers have been completely hijacked by unscrupulous callers. Most of the calls have a fax machine at the other end. They never actually send me a fax. I will get a report from my fax machine with tens of dozens of calls and a notation of "no fax." I was among the first people on Do Not Call Registry and I am so angry about this, that I am going to do whatever it takes to find out who these f***ers are and bring them to justice, including but not limited to suing them myself in small claims court. The only free info I have gotten so far is that 231-224-2048 is Baller Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI. The reverse directory I looked it up on said that the business' name and address were also available, but for a fee of $14.99. No f***ing way am I paying after spending all my time on this. Where there is a will there is a way. I will post info results for all numbers that have called me, as soon as I have really good and complete data on all of them. their toll free is 877-223-1931. they call from hundreds of different numbers and its all a scam. call the toll free and give em back a piece of your mind. if its busy its because they are closed or not taking calls on that toll free number right now. i work for AT&T and i know how this all works. they can turn that toll free on and off when they want so if its off u get a busy network signal or a full mailbox. i am posting this on all the threads related to them on this site.

I received a similar call as well, with the exact same wording. Except the number on the call display came up as (231) 732-2042. Maybe they opened up a new number after their old one got closed down?

Gotta wonder if all the long distance charges they accumulate are actually worth it ...

This phone #231 224 2048 has called my home lots of time. The last time I called back I got a recording saying the client could not take the call, if you would like to leave your cell# she will call you back later. I hung up  this has happened lots of times with other numbers I got my number of the list it stopped for a while now they are calling again I am so fed up with this, is there anything more I can do to stop these calls
