I get the same call from this number 3-4 times per day. Never leave a message. It is really annoying. Have not tried to pick up yet....

No idea who these a--h---s really are, but here is their CLEC which provides service to them.
I assume that your name, phone number, and email address provided for the abuse form will go to their customer.

They call me twice a day, once usually between 9:30am and 10am, the other after 4pm.  This is my desk number at work so it's really annoying and I can't just hit "ignore."  They either leave a 4 second blank voicemail or nobody is there to answer.

I reported them to the carrier and if they call again I'll go further up the chain.

CID address is D2 SEG4 . . . aaaaaaggggghhhh!  They call several times each morning.  I'm on the no call list.  We don't have time to answer these non-person calls!

I just got a call from them so I answered and they hungup immediately. From the sounds of it, this is a computer calling. Someone without a clear understanding of call center provisioning. There are a lot of these businesses going belly up out there.

After getting a dozen or more calls from this and similar numbers from "D2" and "D3" always with dead air and a CLICK on the other side some hick-woman was on the line this time. She wanted me to sign up for a free computer security publication. I told her that I wasn't interested.

Any publication that uses a service that has such blatant disrespect for people (by calling over and over and having dead air on the other side) must be a rag.

I got this call today for Newsday, a Long Island newspaper.  Must be a telemarketing service that works for many businesses.

Got a call. Had to speak for the system to connect a person.  Salesman wanted to sell me a subscription for The Daily News.  Medium pushy.  I asked to be removed from the list and he just kept selling.  
So it is then SPAM from The Daily News.

I've read that recorded advertising messages are often sent via computer to several numbers at the same time. The first phone to answer the call gets the spiel The rest are served dead air. The fact that a returned call gets no answer points to a flaw in the do-not-call system. They can call you and you can't retaliate.

They can take their 'holiday special' and ...

Dead air after being recorded it still cost me to get info after local telephone company.  Robo calls or call from calling center to the first call that pickups,  it make you get up and go through the standard telephone protocol only to waste your time.   BAD BUSINESS $$$$$ unless you are in the harassing business.
