keep getting calls from Receivables performance/ Mc Bain.  Calls are coming in every day and all times of the day.  When you pick up phone someone asks to hold on because they have a message for you.

got a call from this # and it was a male that used a shortened version of my name like I was a personal friend and then was rude when i asked who it was and said "why you aksin so many questions if you aint jen"  and hung up.

Received a call with caller i.d. of mcbain mi, this is another one of the alias numbers from recievables performance . A debt  collection organization that has no standing in law to contact me for collection of a debt. I have sent them a certified letter inviting them to file suit and to not call me again of I will definitely file for damages against them  and all of their bogus representatives under federal statute..

recieved a call from 213-337-2146 and when tempting to call it back there was no answer... Someone calls me from this number all time of night. When I do attempt to pick up call no one says anything its just silence....

We too have received repeated calls from this number and extremely rude personnel.  Allegedly, the calls are for our son.  I've told "them" he doesn't live with us and, besides that, he has a severe hearing impairment which precludes him carrying on a phone conversation.  They won't discuss it with me saying they have to speak with him!  I told them, "Good luck! You'd better send him a letter!"

The final straw was a RUDE call from this same number at 11:30 A.M. TODAY (SUNDAY), November 7, 2010!!!

I went off on the rude b*tch informing her that I WOULD be filing charges against them with the Federal Trade Commission, FBI and any other "alphabet" agency I could think of-as a former US Army MP Staff Sergeant, former Louisiana Deputy Sheriff and retired insurance adjustor/investigator, they do NOT scare me with their Gestapo-like tactics!!!

These people are rude and WILL not give you their address, I even stated I was sending them a check and they still would not give me their address so that Federal charges of FDCPA can be sent to them, anyone reading this let us all band together and force these rude rectally retentive company deal with a written response....they do not want it in writing is the reason. contact me at this email address and lets end their abuse.....msamuelsdetox@gmail.com

I have just kept calling them back and leaving the phone on the nightstand. Ha Ha Ha ive called about 20 times in the last hour. Payback for a while.  STILL NOT SURE WHY THEY CALL ME 8 TO 10 TIMES A DAY. ARRRGGGG

I just received a call from this number.  I did not answer it but called it back.  I spoke with someone who was very pleasant and very professional.  She told me who they were trying to contact.  It is the same person debt collectors from all over the country have tried contacting at my number.  Apparently, he had my cell number just before it was assigned to me.  My cell phone happens to be a federal government cell phone.  When I explain that they always, including this group, apologize and remove it from their phone number database.  But my situation is pretty unique.

Bill collectors, usually old bankruptcy cases which are outside the time limit to collect. I called them and they didn't have the guts nor the balls to answer, just like when they call - they always hang-up, all hours of the day and night. I registered them on the "DO NOT CALL" list and filed a complaint.

I advised that you do the same.

I have sent a registered letter to the Receivables Performance Corporate office advising them that they have no legal standing to contact me regarding any debt and invited themand all of their alias LLC affiliates with  to file a cause of action against me in a court of law if they have a case.
This morning I got two more calls from Mc Bain MI on my caller ID.
Maybe someone needs to contact them using universal historical methods that everyone understands

It can not be Verizon I pay my bill every month no reason for them to call me.

I refuse to answer since I do not answer calls that I do not know do not know why these people are calling me and really do not care. I figure if it was important they would leave me a message.And since they do not then it must not be important enough for me to care about! Can you dig it! Yeah!

I too have received calls from this number. They call everyday sometimes three or four times of day. They never leave a message and when I do answer the call there is silence.

It is very annoying to the point where my number is about to be changed. I agree with everyone that this is harassment and they need to be dealt with.
