It was just someone calling to let me know about a small movie coming out soon. They were quick and not very pushy. And for once i got a call from someone who wasn't trying to sell me something.

I got the call too, asking if I would commit to seeing the movie "Velveteen Rabbit" this next weekend.  I would be relieved about the non-selling aspect of the call, except for the fact that my number is on the do not call registry!

He told me that he's calling "every combination of numbers in the area".

Called my cell about a  movie. Telemarketing to cell phones is illegal. I have filed a complaint with the FDC

Same as the others, said they would give me credit toward purchasing DVDs if I went to see Velveteen Rabbit on opening weekend. The caller mentioned Feature Films for Families, turns out this is what they're doing and they've gotten in trouble for it before:

Just got a call from them about this so called upcoming movie, told them fist of this was a cell phone and that I was on the do not call registry

response to that was it was not a sales call and that as reported by others "we're calling every combination of numbers in the area"

flat out asked if his company was looking for a lawsuit, waited for reply and was told no, then told him that if his company didn't want to expect a call from my lawyer he best be hanging up.

phone when silent for a bit then I said "still they're aren't you? to which I got a yes reply and a repeat of this is not a sales call.

I told him to expect my lawyer's call and asked again if he'd be hanging up and if so that he better get moving. he did so.

received call from the above listed number.  they asked for someone who lives in my home and when i said they were unavailable and to please tell me what the nature of the call was, the person calling became defensive and quickly said he would call at another time.  

We do not need calls from this number as it appears is a scam to sell something.

Just got a call from 2317322067. It did not ring long enough for me to pick up.

Same as everyon else.  I didn't give thema chance to tell me exactly what they wanted.  I said not interested and hung up.  I may file a complaint also since it was my cell and I'm on the do not call registry...double whammy.

Had a thought......wonder how they'd like it if we all called them back to see how they like their phone being called by strangers just wanting to bug them.  Anyone it try yet?

did not give them a chance to say who they represented

Just got the same call.  I am on the do not call list as well and am wondering how they obtained a list of cell phone numbers.  Anyone else w/ ATT?

Try calling the number back... you get a *HELLO* and then dead silence.

Somebody put a lot of time and money into bugging the crap out of people.

Same thing guys I got some Velveteen Rabbit call whats this about wow. This reminds me of the Dark Knight things they did for advertising that movie I think it is the same thing but for this Velveteen Rabbit movie.

wanted to let everyone know that I've filed a report with the Texas Attorney General requesting criminal charges be brought upon them.

Just got a call, didn't answer it before checking though :)  All the way from Texas to MN now.
