Received 3 calls to date, about a week apart.  Calls made in mid-afternoon.  No voice message left only 15 sec of silence.  Was picked up by Verizon voicemail, but not by regular answering machine.

Called Sunday.  Heard noises and maybe voices in background ... seemed like a butt dial but could have been related to the Rapture being delayed.

Received calls on 5-18 and 5-19 and it shows as SDA Teleservice on my COMCAST call log.

Many times in a day and night...listed as private caller which I won't answer...leaves no message...SDA Teleservice appears on my Comcast. log. Enough is enough.

Receive calls from this number daily.  Says it is from Smithsonian.  Today, for the first time, someone spoke and asked to talk to me by name.  When I said the caller had the right person, he said something like, "this is smithsonian, will call back another day".  Tried to continue to talk, but got no response.

I received 3 calls in the last week. The first one left an unintelligible voicemail. the last 2 calls i picked up and just didnt get any response on the other end, just silence for about 10-15 seconds before they hung up.

Calls come 2-3 times daily.  Rings until answering machine picks up but never leave a message.

I keep receiving calls from this number.  I want it to stop

I received a call from this number, I ignored the call and they left a voice mail. Someone was talking then stopped very quickly then silence for about 15 seconds.

Calls several times a week and never leaves a message, Caller ID says SMITHSONIAN. This needs to STOP.

This number has called nearly daily for two weeks, no message and I never pick up.

Calls come several times a day -  will report this number to the appropriate authorities as it is probably
a scam.  Caller ID says it is from Smithsonian but I know it is not the Smithsonian in District of Columbia
as they do not make calls to members.  

I AM GOING CRAZY!  Some one keeps calling my number at least five times a day.  No message is left but my caller ID shows; SMITHSONIAN.  How can make this stop, where do I file a complaint.  I have a very sick family member and this constant phone ringing disturbs her tremendously.  Please help, Please advise.

I tried to block his number but it showed up again.  The actual number belongs to a landline in Morley, Michigan near US 131.  I don't think the number shown is the correct number - to comes from somewhere else.

Caller ID reads 'Smithsonian.' It left no voicemail. Blocked it. It calls daily for the past week, but can't get through. Sweet Peace.

Yes, my ID says Smithsonian as well.  They call every day, 7 days a week even though they never get through.

Calls several times a week but never leaves a message.  Whitepages shows it's from Morley MI but I doubt that.  Whatever it is - it's a fraud!

Caller ID says "SMITHSONIAN" but with number "231-732-2096", which is a Michigan area code. This is obviously some kind of a scam using a faked caller ID, since the Smithsonian is in Washington, D.C., which as a 202 area code. They have called twice in the last two days. I left the "Call Type" as "Unknown" because there is no category for "scammer".

Since this caller has bothered us for repeated calls over the past several weeks, I now click on the "Answer" button to open the line, but I remain silent.  After about 25 seconds the line goes dead, but the calling party then accrues the cost of a long distance telephone call.  If we all did that, perhaps they might locate a legitimate firm to work for.

No one has paid for long distance for years.  Why do you think phone companies included it in the package?  Thanks to the internet, calls can be made for free.
