    We keep getting record messages from this number about wining a vacation and you are supposed to press one now to hear all the details. We get at least one call a day and sometimes from different numbers. when i reversed search this number all i get is Provider: lucre location Morley MI USA, and unpublished number

    thats funny about five minutes ago that same number called me trying to extend my car warranty... and they call just about everyday and everyday i press 2 to be removed from the list, never happens of course... like you i did a reverse search so i was not surprised when i seen your post on here... my search too led my to morley, MI on one search and Alanson, MI on another and when you call back you get a recorded message... BIG TIME SCAM

    Rec'd call on Dec 7, 2007 in mid-afternoon (MST) and picked it up.  

    It was a canned "vacation scam" message:  A *free* prize that only costs $299/person.  You're supposed to press 1 to claim prize or press 2 (3?) to be placed on their "do not call" list.

    Based on comments from many others about similar scams, I did not press 2 (3?) as I am sure that would have only confirmed to them that they reached a real person.

      Called me just now! Caller ID said R Moss. I did not answer. So they called me right after they called you. I hate these calls.

      These people are SCAMMERS; do not confuse with TELEMARKETERS.
      Telemarketers have some regard for the law and will abide with legislation.  Scammers have NO regard for the law.

      I have read that many scammers are in fact based off-shore (places like India) and place their calls using voice over internet (VOIP) technology; they "fake out" the numbers that they are calling from.

      In my opinion, the government legislation needs to be tightened up; the federal "do not call" list does not cut it.

    I live in Glasgow, Scotland and have been receiving a call from 001 (231) 732 2257 every night around 7pm UK time, is this from the same group of people? A reverse search came up with Morley MI so I assume it will be. If it is, they have broadened their horizons to Europe!
