Repeated calls but no message.

Just called, I answered, then I hung up and blocked their number.  With a heavy Indian accent said "This is "Ruth" LOL, calling about your windows home computer", that was the point I hung up.  It's a scam.  

They called multiples of times but did not leave a message.  They did however put a reminder on my phone for me to call them back.

Do not call this number back - according to NANPA, 232 is not a U.S. area code. AT&T numbering plan lists 232 as the code for Sierra Leone, or some cell phones in Turkey.  This is probably one of those scams that bill you for $9.99 to $19.99 if you call their number.  

They called and said my computer was send them error reports.   I've been getting other calls like that lately too.  They want to get into your computer.   The latest on the news about this is that they charge you $99.00 to get back all the files they steal from your computer.  Don't talk to them, just hang up.

I've been receiving calls from this number at random hours multiple times a day, they don't leave messages and don't reply if I answer their call.

I keep getting calls from this number that turns out is not even an valid U.S. are code. It shows up as a country code for Sierra Leone. They call stating they are from Microsoft and that they recieved an error report from my computer and ask me to download a program that will let them have real time view of my computer. I of coarse did not download anything from them. The program they ask you to down load is a valid program to allow someone to view you computer. But of coarse these people are not from microsoft much less Microsoft would not call and ask you to do that especially since Windows already has such software. I have asked them to remove my number but of coarse they continue to call almost daily.  

They've called at least 10x -- each time I ask for supervisor and they eventually hang up.  Say they are Microsoft cert and my computer is having trouble.

they just called the lady said she was from microsoft and need permission to up software .i told dont be a fool your out to try steal info.because microsoft dont call

I don't have a windows computer Jabar, Praise Allah!  loo loo loo loo loo! Generally gets them to hang up quickly!

I have received calls from different numbers also. I answered once and they said that they were calling from Microsoft. Really.... Microsoft would never call me to tell me anything. I kept them on the phone and started yelling at them. It was hard to keep from laughing.

you have malicious activities on your computer , I asked how when my computer has been off, he just said we have to take care of this now, I said that's ok don't call again,  2 seconds later I received another call might have been a different person,  same Indian accent, I don't know,  very irritating.

Calls several times every morning.  Irritating.

This ## calls me constantly and is really bothering us is there a way to make them stop

They called several times saying they are calling from Microsoft and that my computer is sending them error reports. They are from India and using American names….Like John, Mary etc. irritating! after the third call, I blocked the number.

Same thing here.  Heavy indian accent telling me that my computer is sending emails out to my entire mailbox.  I asked which computer, and he told me it was my Windows 7 computer.  He claimed to be calling from Microsoft. I hung up.

I got a phone call this afternoon from 232-367-6789. Individual with thick Indian accent said his name was "David Miller" calling, a "Microsoft Tech" from "OSS Support" and  said that my Windows 7 computer had a virus, that they received an error report from my computer, and also claimed that people were trying to access my computer without my permission (he literally had like 3 scenarios...). He asked me if i was by my computer and asked me to get on it. I heard multiple people in the background going through the same scripted schpeel because anytime I answered the man he went silent as if he didn't know what to say & was looking for the next thing he could try on his script. After I refused to get on my computer when he asked me to do so and I asked for my number to be taken off of the list I was hung up on. I tried to call the number right back to file a complaint since this is not the first time I have been contacted by this number (despite the fact that I have been registered on the "Do Not Call Registry" all I got was a dial tone, According to other resources this phone number area code is not even a U.S. number- it is apparently traced back to Sierra Leone or some Turkish cell phones.

Maybe all the scammers should get together and make a single call giving you the option as to which scam you prefer.

I am getting these calls along with the "Card Services" scam, and calls trying to collect a debt from someone that apparently owned my phone number six years ago!

If this weren't my business phone, I would dump it, but there is no guarantee it won't start back up on a new #.

There's no relief in sight!
