I'm on a no call list, a lot of good that does. I did not answer the call. After I discovered there is no area code 233 I investigated and came up with this site. Does anybody know how a person makes a call with an invalid area code number? I think the phone companies need to get a handle on the fraud.

He called and was very pleasant.  He stated that they were a political action committee that worked for the petroleum companies that wanted to drill for oil in the US and they needed names and addresses to put on the petition.  He just verified my address and that was it.  I didn't originate my address, he already had it.  Not sure if this is a scam or not, but I will be monitoring my credit report just in case.
