Some prick scamming you.

"Person said he was representing the legal arm of something (didn't catch whom). Asked for last four digits of my social which I did not disclose. He said he wanted to confirm that I would be available to sign for legal documents that were to be delivered. After not disclosing info he requested, I told him to send the documents and I would give them to my attorney. He then asked for my attorney's information and he would contact their office directly. Again, I refused to disclose info. He then said he had a legal right to talk to my attorney and that he was disconnecting the call."

Just left a voicemail saying that she had a claim in her office and I needed to call back. Didn't give me a number or what it was about

A guy left a message saying he was from Alliant capital management. Didn't say what it was about just that there was a claim and to call 855-764-8874

Person said they were from the pre legal department of Alliant capital. They are a collection agency.

"Pre Legal", scammer talk for "We want to scare you into paying us money", also known as extortion.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are:  http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
