• If you Vanilla Card, MoneyGram or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Geeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse with termites, or a statement that your computer is infected.
• 876 is NOT your lucky number, and it will cost you money to call that area code!
• The number you see on your Caller ID may not be the number of the person who called you!
• The Do Not Call List works as intended. It is NOT a call blocker!

- T| 2 repliesThey called me too, insisting they were government workers for the U.S. offering me $10,000... I played along, and asked for information.. She even asked me what job field I worked in... She hung up on me when I told her I worked for the U.S. Department of Corrections. But they still keep calling.. Ha.

- Storm Loverspoke like he marbles in his mouth, assuming India or something asking for someone I do not know who then hung up when I said no one by that is here. Called back bc was called 3x b4 answered and said no such number
- MidwesternerThere was loads of voices in the background, like a disorganized call center. A guy with a thick accent said the US government wanted to give me $8,000. As soon as I mentioned that it might be a scam, he instantly hung up.
