I receive calls but do not pick up.  They do not leave a VM, even though my message specifically states to if you want a return call

I received a call from this number as well...did not leave a voice mail...who is it?

This number has called multiple times and leaves no voicemail

Recording stating that it was an "important message for x person" from Verizon Wireless. I have had this phone number for almost 8 years, and the name was not known to me. I am a Verizon customer, so I seriously doubt they would think my phone belonged to someone else. The "press x number" options were weird, so I figure this is some kind of scam. When I selected the one for "this person isn't known", I was hung up on. The number is local to me. When I called back, a recording said that it had detected I was a Verizon customer and asked for the same girl. I hung up and blocked the number.

Called my cell 4 to times today and no voicemail. No idea who it is but no message=no return call.
