Got a call on this number, and did not answer it.

got one a few mins ago and im in ireland

Im in ireland and this number rang me, rang it back and sounded like a sex chat line, not very good either, trying to scam money from your credit i guess

Also got a call at 20.11. Did not ring; straight to missed call. John

Got call this afternoon from the same number. tried ringing it back but my mobile service is restricted me.

In kildare Ireland just had a missed call from this number didmt answer it cause I didn't recognise it

Just got a call from this number. I didn't even get a chance to answer as it rang once then who ever it was hung up.
I'm in Ireland too so it seems from what others have said whoever it is, is calling Irish numbers

Got a call from this number yesterday! Heard on the radio if you ring it back or answer it will take all your credit.Not sure if this is true but would advise not to ring back.

Missed call on my Irish mobile from this number half an hour ago - googled it and needless to say will not be calling back.

In Dublin, just got a call from this number also. It rang once then hung up. Appreciate for the info, I won't be ringing back.

In Donegal, got a call, rang once then missed call, rang back and it sounds like a sex recording, and a pretty poor one. Mobile providers should ban the number from the networks. West African number...

Got a call from this number at 16:01 today. Missed it, glad now that I did. Irish mobile as well so they must be ringing a lot of Irish numbers like us.

Just missed a call from this number also. Just rang once.  Won't be ringing it back!

I got a call from this number today (single ring and it hung up). I didn't answer but having checked this I can see it is of dubious origin. I've contacted my service provider to have it blocked from my number. Thanks for everyone for the warning on this number on this site.

It's actually an international number with + or 00 before it. +239 is country code for São Tomé and Príncipe, officially the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, is a Portuguese-speaking island nation in the Gulf of Guinea, off the western equatorial coast of Central Africa.  These are scam calls that will waste your credit
