Received a call at work from this number. Caller ID shows M11113311000... (too long for screen to show in entirety). The woman was asking questions about the clinic regarding location, website, phone numbers, email address, etc. She claimed to be from Vet Healthcare Network, updating their information, but she didn't introduce herself before asking me questions, I had to ask who she was. A google search also brought up no results for "Vet Healthcare Network", or "Veterinary Healthcare Network". I declined to answer further questions and hung up. No idea whether it was legit or not, but the information I gave her is all publicly available.

We had the EXACT same thing.  After not being able to provide me with a website to a REAL company I hung up on her.

I received the same call a couple minutes ago but it was a guy (it sounded almost like a robovoice?).  He (it) said he needed my organizations email then when I said we don't give that out he said they need it to get CEUs.  I'm a coder at my facility and do need CEUs but needless to say I hung up.  They called back almost immediately again and I just hung up and put on the reject list.  That was the funny thing they called my personal cell phone number.  I'm wondering if they got a membership list from one of the national coding organizations I belong to?  Either way since it's coming from Florida I suspect it's fraudsters trying to get medical practice data to do fraudulent billing.  Don't forget all the news stories about Medicare fraud seem to be centered in Florida.

I too am a medical coder in Ohio and came here as a result of googling the number as it was calling me.  I never answered, so I was just looking for comments regarding who was calling me.  I would assume it does have something to do with medical coding.  I would NEVER give out the information that is listed above, so good job to those who didn't.

Our office just received a call from the same number, caller ID said ELI RESEARCH, requesting to "clarify" our billing department's information. We informed them that we would be unable to provide them the information and hung up. Fishy.

I have received multiple calls from this number lately. When I asked the man who called this morning the reason for the call he stated, "I'm calling from the Physician's Healthcare Network and we are trying to verify the e-mail address of (my name)". I asked him why he needed the information and when he repeated his first answer I hung up on him. That number will be going on the block list now.

Received same call.  Clearly a scheme to obtain enough info for identity theft or anything along those lines.  It takes about 5 seconds to become suspicious with these people based on what they say/ how they say it.  Use your gut which usually equates to common sense

I called them. When I get to be first in queue, their computer hangs up.
It is some sort of scam.

Guy said he was from Physicians Healthcare Network and they were veifying info for kaiser.  Trying to get my doctor's email address.  I refused to give it to him and asked him outright if this was a sales call.  He got defensive and agressive.  I told him to fax anything to us if it was legitimate and refused to give him information.  Rude. Liar. Very ignorant.

Same thing here.  Ten calls yesterday, three today.  Finally had phone ladies transfer to me to speak to.  Explained repeatedly if they called again they'd be turned into the Indiana Atty General office for do not call list  / harassment.  They were polite, but said they were just verifying info that is already available.  Told her she could google it then.  We'll see if we get another call. In meantime, I made a list of every single time they've called to add to the Atty General's complaint form.

Asked a lot of questions about our practice, had some info about us already (maybe just gleaned online though?). Asked really specific questions that I told her I wasn't comfortable responding to (like what kind of specific software we use to keep our electronic patient records). I asked multiple times where she was calling from and got vague responses, including that she was in NC even though area code is in FL. I became less responsive to her questions and she started becoming belligerent about speaking to a supervisor, who wasn't available. She was still trying to press me for more answers before realizing she wasn't getting any after which she said she'd call back another day.

May actually be a legitimate organization but no name comes up on caller ID and I got a hangup from a similar number earlier in the day. Also the name they gave (something along the lines of "Worldwide Healthcare" didn't pull up anything on a Google search - fishy.) Plus the whole weirdness of the operator/representative gave off a bad vibe. Don't trust it personally.

I too have received a call from this number.  I picked up the receiver and did not say anything.  She repeatedly said "hello". I made no sound, and she hung up.  They called right back. Repeated line one.

I just received a call from this number. They asked a lot of very specific questions and already knew a lot of information about my business. I was very uncomfortable with this phone call.

I work in a doctor's office.  I forward the land line calls from work to my cell phone during off hours.  I was called at home at 6:35 am by this number (it went to voice mail) then again when I got back to work this morning at 11:03 am. The voice on the other end was a live female person but the volume of her voice was so low I could not tell what she wanted from me. It was frustrating and made me feel a little unsure about her motives. I looked the number up on this site and then  Doctor went on line and blocked future calls from this number after I expressed my concern.

WHAT EVER, MAKE IT A GREAT DAY PEOPLE.
