they called me two times in a row and hung up as I answered

They keep calling.  I will not answer a caller I do not recognize. Why don't they take the hint?

It's some caller in Florida-the location of the call showed up on my phone.

I've gotten many calls from this number. and one from NewYork. They won't stop

I've been getting calls from this number non-stop. I called them back, and was told that they are calling because I requested information about school (I might have). I asked them to remove my number, and they were really nice about it. It's removed now, so you can call them back and do the same.

just got a call on my cell phone from this number; when I answer nothing happens and they hang up. When I called back a customer service rep answered the phone and asked for the number they called me at. I gave her my number and she said they were removing it from the list, however, she never stated what the company was they were affiliated with.

It is a college locator service out of Bonita Springs Florida, I used Intellius to look it up, and called them back.

I received two calls from them today.  The first call talked to my answering machine, asking for me by my full name.  Then hung up.  The second call no one spoke so I hung up.

I just called it, the "customer rep" said it's 866 my major. You must have requested information about college. When they call, there is a long delay. Just ask to be removed, they will remove your number from the call list.

very helpful messages here. this number called numerous times but never left any messages so i didnt bother calling back.

Just got a call. No one talked back when I answered. It's from the south of Florida, around the Everglades.  Weird!  I know NO one there.

Please make them stop calling. They call everyday at least twice and it's really getting on my nerves. I have no mins left so I can't pick it up and tell them to stop.

Call Hangup - Call Hangup - Call Hangup --- 3 or 4 time a day for a week.
either there calling bot doesn't recognize and answer or someone is getting paid by the connect.
In either case it should not be coming to my cell phone.
So how can I make it stop

They called Saturday and Sunday says Lester A. on my caller ID I have an answering machine and no message was left either time. I know no one by that name. Has to be a scam or telemarketer with no brains.

Many calls and no response when answere. How do you block them?

I got a call from this number, they stated that they were calling in regard to a request for information about a school.  They also spouted some website address that I didn't catch, and when I asked what website, they hung up on me.

The name on my cell also says A. Lester or Lester A. When I searched the numbr, it stated that it was a landline and when called back it's a woman voice on the answering machine stating no one is there and to leave a message at the beep. I also had a voicemail from that number just saying what type of name is that? Then they hung up...

Hey if you really want to control how someone calls you get Google voice its free for the most part and you can block calls. they have really great features

they called me the other day about wanting information about school. i have no idea how they got my number. i never visited the site asking for information for a school. i am currently in college and they kept asking me for stuff and i didn't tell them. i read these reports and realized they wouldn't stop calling so i called them back and had them remove my number and any info they had on me. they said they would but i'm not sure if they will.
