Calls and hangs up.

Calls and hangs up for me too.  Caller ID says Avalon.... I called back and it was some Home of Veterans place who knew my name before I said anything.

Same here - caller id says Avalon. Called at 8:20 pm! Not very nice. As I am on the do not call list.

found out this is a landline in Ft Myers Florida. No idea who Avalon is

repeated phone calls--never answers, just hangs up.  What is the point of a no call list if these jokers can continue to harrass you with their repeated calls?

This is a professional TELEMARKETING outfit they are NOT associated with the Veterans Administration.

The caller asked for me by name and said he was with a homeless veterans charity. Said his name was Charlie; sounded like a kindly WWII gent, but apparently this scam outfit has hired some good actors. I declined to donate. He asked for $100, then down to $15. Sounded legit, but I see here where it's not!

Multiple calls through out the day. No answer just hangs up after 3-5 seconds.

Lots of calls no names to go along with it you say it is Florida on our machine it says Long Beach

Tired of calls from this "Avalon" operation. They use other numbers as well, such as 561-404-2382.

They hang up on the answering machine, but if its a supposed charity as others have said, we wouldn't believe them anyway.

Who knows if its a ripoff operation, a collection agency looking for former residents, or what. Its a sad thing for legitimate charity calls that fraud is so rampant.

Called asking for John and said they'd call back later, when told that they had wrong number.  Didn't leave any message.  They had the right phone number, but wrong name.

.  Asked who was calling...some Vets. group...said they would call
back.  Lady said her name was Becky Frasier...with a southern drawl.  I only answered the call
because it said Ft. Myers & I have a ill friend who lives there.

Received numerous calls fron "AVALON", and hangs up! Who is "AVALON"??? Please reply?
