Called my landline and left no message. Called the number back and got a recorded message stating that none of their representatives were available right now. If you believe you received this call in error, please press 1 to be placed on the do not call list.  It's either a scam, a "charity", a survey, or a political call.

Caller ID says "FLPOF"  This appears to stand for Florida Police Officers Foundation. Clearly this is either another charity scam or one of those scammers that gives a mere 10% or so of the funds collected to the actual charity.  In any case it is known as being one of the most fraudulent charities around.

Don't call these numbers back, they can get your phone number and sell it!

Robo call

got the call just now, no one there. looked it up to see taht it is just another in a long line of these calls i keep getting

added to blocker

do they have more than one number? it seems so

Telemarketer. Another scam from 239 area code.

I recently received a call from this number; it was added to my phone # blocker when it came in.  Appreciate everyone's feedback about these bogus calls.  The DNC list has so many exceptions and loopholes, that it's virtually useless.  I just purchased a phone # blocker and have added some 35 phone #s in the past 3 days.  The amount of crap calls is starting to decrease.  Phone # blockers for landlines can be purchased on Amazon and are well worth the investment - if only for the decrease in aggravation.

The DNC isn't useless. Scammers just ignore it.

I just got this call and thanks to those before me letting me know who they were - I blocked them.....Thanks again.

Called ID said FLPOF. They hung up after 3 rings.

FLPOF called.  Caller ID's pronunciation brought a smile, but now I can block 'em, thanks to those who posted.

caller id "Fort Myers FL". Left no message.

Says collecting for officers hurt and need help

They use this number also:
17722108053

scam.  not answered, no message

More than likely, another outfit in the Panhandle Florida has used a couple numbers at our house...they probably know with technology that phones block numbers so they probably get a handful of numbers from the phone company
